these selector jobs are god awful, i lasted a year and eventually said enough is enough and went to IT school. now im the guy sitting in a office at a warehouse watching these poor souls get pushed around while i just fix networking issues and troubleshoot stuff while getting paid more......go to school kids

These jobs are great for experience and development 1-2 years of this on your resume and almost any would hire you

I recently applied but was not selected but I can say love the fact they didn’t hold any punches in this vide about the work itself they’re very upfront letting you know this job is not for the weak.

does anyone know how long you would have to work in the warehouse as a selector before you can be considered to become a driver for them? I already have my cdl and was considering becoming a selector so i could get my foot in the door to eventually become a driver

and to repay all your hard work and loyalty , as soon as full automation can replace you , we will do it in a heartbeat .

The dumb part is having the order selectors that just got done working a 8hr shift or 10hr shift... or possibly a 20hr shift (done it before) clean after everything is said and done.. any warehouse should have a cleaning crew.

At this type of job the companies are slave drivers.

I feel him for not able to speak English properly. This job will make you avoid people, and focus on production. Furthermore, lot of the workers in warehouse are high school drop outs or haven't pursued secondary education. Therefore, you deal with lot of hood english and aggressive people. Nonetheless, I have been doing warehouse job for 10 years, and overtime I developed stuttering problem, and unable to speak english fluently.

I did this for 2 years, never again your working all the time no time for anything. Not worth it
