I had my gallbladder surgery 2 weeks ago and still not feeling 100%. I’ve lost 7 lbs since the surgery and it’s been experimenting with limited diet to see what I can tolerate without feeling very nauseous. Hope to continue to get better and be able to eat normal diet. This has been rough but I’d rather plan the surgery and do it then face months or years of suffering and then having to have an emergency surgery.

Thank u it is like c section at first but heals faster dont let anyone tell u its nothing it was so painful first 3 days . I wish someone had told me what to expect i was so mad . I know it had to be done

for the burning sensation in your stomach it could be peptic ulcers,indigestion or even IBS....i hope you got help and feeling much better 🙂

Thanks for sharing. If you can restore gallbladder health keeping is by far the best option. For many w/o a gallbladder ox-bile works -- I take 500 mg usually twice a day about an hour after eating -- also the digestive enzymes. ACV to keep the stomach acid is palatable with seltzer. The liver does continue making bile after surgery, but without a gall bladder to concentrate and deliver it to the duodenum usually a supplement is needed.

You don’t stop producing bile. It doesn’t get stored in gal bladder since we don’t have one anymore.

This is such a good description of what I’ve gone through and going through In currently looking at removal of my gallbladder but here so many stories of bad side effects post surgery

The go to answer is whip it up but you need your gallbladder - you have it for a reason. If people could be bothered to radically change their diet and cleanse their liver and gallbladder, they wouldnt need it. And that’s without mentioning that you increase the risk of bowel cancer with bile now dripping directly into the small intestine.

Just had my gallbladder removed it went pretty well.

i think there should be proper treatment or medicine avilable for whom who lost their gallbladder

Hi, I have been waiting 18 months in the U.K. for my gallbladder removal I am throwing up and having attacks several times a week now it’s horrendous on top of my fibromyalgia the waiting list is so long I can not wait to get it out as I’m so sick with it I hope it isn’t much longer as I literally can not stand it much longer glad to hear you are much better now

Gall bladder does not PRODUCE bile, it stores it. Your liver produces bile.

Dear it's not that your not producing bile, it's that you dont have a "container" of bile anymore. Bile is main in the liver & stored in the gallbladder. Just incase someone watching this in 2023 lol So basically you have the bile but it's not as concentrated

Worst thing i have ever done is remove my gallbladder. It is different for everyone but in my case it had extremely bad side effects.

My experience seems to be very different to many posters here. I have been getting attacks for over 20 years. They are ferocious but never last more than 1/2 hour. The pain is across under my bust and up a bit along my gullet. Usually accompanied by belching. It is like I would imagine a heart attack to be. At various times I have my doctors it was heartburn, reflux, anxiety, panic attack, hiatus hernia, but gallbladder trouble was never suggested. Then lately I had been vomiting and attack lead to an ER visit. Ultrasound and bloods indicated an inflamed GB but no stones. An MRI showed microscopic stones. No surgery yet. One attack since ER visit which was less than 10 minutes. I would be interested to know if anyone else has had similar kinds of attacks.

I have painful stomach issues if I don't eat in a while, I would like to fast and lose the stomach bloat. I need something for the pain

There is a lot you can do to improve your situation. But it won’t come from traditional medicine.

Move and store all,pictures and videos to an external hard drive.

First thing in the morning should Never be tea /coffee. It should be better to have Lemon water or just plain lukewarm water.

Are you still taking the digestive enzymes? I'm only 8 days post op amd I think I'm going to take them because I've had horrible nausea, reflux, amd indigestion! And I've heard they help!

Hi !! Thank you for your video! I am 3 weeks post op. Could you explain more about the enzymes? Has it made a difference I haven’t taken any supplements I even asked my surgeon and she said it was not necessary. Please let me know ☺️ also I feel sore at times if I do a lot 🥺

It is their job to prepare you with all the details in advance. That's on them. I just had my surgery yesterday. It's harder than I expected! But totally doable. I also had two c-sections and my gallbladder surgery post-op is harder. I wish I had been more prepared for that- thankfully my husband knew better than I did and took off work for a few days so he could help. I echo the need for digestive enzymes!! I take the papaya enzymes.

Avocado is so easy on my stomach it's crazy when other people say the opposite. I'm 6 months post op and I thought it'd be better but I get nauseous after greasy or heavy foods. I thought I could put off really changing my diet until after I graduate college and just focus on fitness this year but my body needs a change now

My attacks were a lot like yours. So infrequent at the beginning I would forget about them. Got so bad the final 2 weeks I was having 8 hour attacks and an emergency room visit along with 2 urgent care visits. Lots of throwing up, lots of anxiety surrounding it. Finally had a 16 hour attack and they did the ultrasound and found my gallbladder issues. 10 days post surgery right now.

Do you take any supplements to help like ox bile?
