Thanks for sharing! I have to say that these charging times are pretty reasonable. Sure, I'd rather buy the 21kWh version as I prefer to have more range at hand and it makes a difference in the charing time but again, this does not look bad AT ALL.

Das kW kostet weniger als 100.-, die surron hat 5 kW! Schliesst eine externe Batterie an, dann könnt ihr das Teil auch auf der Strasse nutzen.

I just called Lighting to find out about washing the bike. Richard said I should avoid using a power washer as it's not good for the bearings and paint. He said if you use foam wash or power from a hose, he said wash like crazy. I asked about electrical issues and was told there were none.

So much disinformation in this video. I have been to Lightning's factory and seen the battery packs in the bikes without bodywork. The batteries Brandon is showing are not the batteries that Lightning uses. Lightning uses Battery Cell Pouches, but they are encased in a large aluminum case. The back of the battery case has slots cut in it to allow hot air to escape, but as shown in the video 09:07, that is the back of the aluminum case, and not the battery pouches or the thin case around each pouch. The top of the battery case does not have any exposed wiring as Brandon talked about but didn't show. In a future video, I will show you pictures I took at the factory of the battery cases. The only part of the battery case that looked to be exposed was at the very top. It had slots to let fresh air in to cool the batteries. These vent slots were behind a wire screen and a radiator. The screen protects rocks and such from getting into the radiator, it the radiator blocks stuff from entering the Battery case. There were no exposed wires like those found on Brandon's garage-made chargers.

I can understand why Lightning is so upset at Brandon. He keeps saying the Cells are exposed. The batteries are all grouped together in a steel case. Either Brandon is a fool or a troll. And as discussed, he is hurting Lightning's sales. Brandon is of the opinion if the bike is not good enough for him, they should go out of business. If they don't build it how he wants, he will continue the Lightning bashing.

This is the opposite of going green lol. Do you know how much coal they burn to produce electricity? It’s like 8x more pollution than fossil fuels

Balance and the changing of balance is a topic that is certainly overlooked. I often ride no hands just for fun but at higher speeds(120km+). I will practice the technique as explained by you at lower speeds. Thanks for the insight.

I see a lot of these Storm Bee videos on youtube, but nobody will say how much range it will get if you weigh 240 lbs. I weigh 240 lbs, if I buy a Storm Bee, how far can I ride it before I run out of charge, at half throttle to full throttle.
