Yes you ‘could’ make a hopper using the skeletal model like you did, but no one would actually use that technique as having true adaptive parts is a very bad practice. You can do the same thing with just a skeletal sketch part and derive feature.

I have multiple times tried inventor to calculate simple trusses and the results are way off from hand calculations using basic FEM. I reckon it is just a good looking tool more than a reliable tool, after these attempts i wouldn't even dare to assess a basic structure with Autodesk inventor.

Hey - not sure if you guys are still in business or switched channels, but there's a pack of cretins over in Vietnam who have ripped some of your videos and re-uploaded them to their RUclips channel. Their channel is called VietCAD. They stole a bunch of mine too and I've had to issue legal DMCA takedowns to remove them. Not sure if you're bothered at all given you haven't uploaded in a while but just in case you have a new channel, there's a chance they may be ripping and stealing from that too. Cheers.

This is a pathetic presentation with the poorest use of PowerPoint. Are you not aware that there are training programs that teach you how to present? Autodesk should be thoroughly embarrassed by this effort. Are you not aware that when you make a point, you reinforce it with a bullet that appears just after you make that point? Are you aware that PowerPoint is not intended to be a manual for your software? You should not put more than 3 points up at a time and could occasionally stretch that to 4 points. Interspace text with photos, drawings and videos. Don't make 'slides' with every word you are going to say. Say it first and follow it up with a POINT on the screen to make it more POWERful. When are people going to get it and stop producing boring horrible presentations?

Richard, I work with Applied Software I would enjoy to speak to you more about the options you have. To answer these direct questions... You are able to turn off the toolpath lines. Inventor is just for design and models. If you want to upgrade so you are able to use the full multi axis and 4 axis please reach out to me.
