Good thinking, I ended up putting the light strip upside down under the top of the leatherwood cover in the end it's a bit brighter. I put the headrest over the power cable to hide it too 👍

I literally just got the leds from a Paris 2nd hand and just slid them under. I did, before we sold it moved the leds and just slipped them upside down on the top rim under the leatheroid cover which proved brighter and lit the walls up better. The power cable I just looped it over the side and put the Layzspa headrest over the cable to hide it 😁

Ah, I did take the top plate off and metal outer ring couldnt see anything obvious but ill take a closer look. I think you may be right as I noticed if the other burners get anything on them they dont stay on until they are cleaned off. Thanks 👍

Absolutely fantastic couldn't recommend them enough. We had an issue with our electrics (not the tub) and the aftersales support was outstanding 👍 Honestly wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Big tip try to go for a tub that does 13 and 32amp so you can switch if you need to at a later date or go for 32amp. The temperature drop isnt massive on 13amp but I think in winter you would notice it more.

Basically you can just run them around the top under the outer cover and point them down. I did have them under the tub originally but its not as bright.

@@ldzmn yes your correct, this vid they are under. Ive since discovered though after 3 years that if you empty tub and just pour the water out the ground obviously gets damp, this constant dampness did eventually get inside and rust the metal led contacts. I would definitely run them just under the cover at the top pointing down if your looking to light the Vegas.

@@ldzmn Yes, ran it for a further 12mths like this and definitely brighter before moving to the hard shell tub.

This should work exactly the same on the Miami model :) I am wondering why yours has a dark ring around base liner near mosaic though is it transparent? Others have lit from the top with sound activated LED strips from amazon which looks great. @@tomwilson7357 I did originally slide them under and just line them up with the white part of the floor just outside of the mosaic bit. In hindsight id recommend slipping them under the cover at the top pointing down, only because over the 3 years I had our tub the constant emptying every 3months did eventually take its toll and somehow water got inside the strip rusting its contacts (heard its quite common even on the Paris). I changed them to the top after that and just hid the wire with a headrest 👍

+PenguinVentures2 Yes it was the rubber bushes. Temperature made them expand, known problem by Nissan. One of the guys I know said just ram a matchstick in them on either side.

Luke Rumsey mine is doing this in the cold, is there something wrong or will doing what you said resolve it. I meant do I need anything repaired? I am a girl, a real girl, no idea about cars !! 😬

@@crazycatlady4392 no its safe. When the weather changes the rubber shrinks slightly and causes the metal bar that runs through them to move slightly more hence the noise. If you cant put up with the noise you can squirt some silicone grease in them. Its basically the dry rubber moving on the metal bar.
