A collection of tracks from Jens Lekman's early period. Many of these were collected on the compilation "Oh You're So Silent Jens" but that comp is just much too short and needs more of the music he released in this period - so i give you this mixtape. 0:00 Maple Leaves 4:11 Burn Down the Avenue 8:30 Pocketful of Money 12:52 Pretty Shoes 16:28 Inside (The Corrections) 20:02 Rocky Dennis' Farewe...

Paul Orwell - Blowing Your Mind Away (full album)

Never seen any digital way to listen to this so i ripped this from my original pressing of the vinyl record. Sorry if the quality isn't the best. The album is lo-fi as a base so it's pretty close to vinyl.

Visual Pinball Design Part 11 - How to get found 3d Items into VPX
Просмотров 2,2 тыс.3 года назад
Probably the question i get asked the most and also possibly the thing i am one of the worst at. So this is not a pro's pro kinda tutorial, but it is a workable solution to help you get found 3d models into your pinball table with minimal difficulty & free tools.

Hi Scott! thank you very much! awesome video! I can't find the table files in dropbox, can you upload again? thank you!
This is fantastic!!
These B-sides are like unlocking another treasury of DRA's hidden gems. Thank you for making this video available again! I hope the '03-'07 "Don't Give Me The Blues" is available again soon!
Thank you brother. This was a great era. It’s great to have all these songs in chronological order. I had the EPs that came out through secretly Canadian. Before that there was great stuff on file sharing. There was this great live recording too. Some of it got used in the original when I said I wanted to be your dog. Also the shows back then were incredible. I was at his first show in NYC I think it was at mercury lounge. He was an opener and pretty much everyone there was friends with the person whose sofa he was sleeping on. The show was so good. I was hoping to get some of the sweddish EPs or a shirt but he had no merch. I told him I had been hoping to hear a song he didn’t play. He sang the song into my ear and I was a fan for life. Second show was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. It was a larger crowd. In the middle of the show he went completely off mic and into the middle of the crowd with an acoustic guitar or ukulele and sang unamplified. I remember you could hear your heart beat and other people breathing. It’s was dominant and amazing. I can’t imagine that happening today in the age of smart phones. No one was trying to document it just be in the moment. I think after that he made best new music on pitchfork and the next show was massive and sold out. I think it was Bowery ballroom.
Great to see one of the main guys behind some of the very best vpx tables.
Wow! Ill likely reference this again! Thanks
legendary
Awesome :)
Thanks!
Awesome!
Thanks man this is entertaining and educational :D
This table still looks good and kids love it. If this had a physics update it would be downloaded like mad
thanks bud, glad you enjoy. yeah physics are how they are supposed to be. the slope is made to be how Fantom was built. And even many versions of Fantom on vpx play like they are ACDC which is all wrong. When I play a table from that era in an arcade I love the way the ball more floats instead of falls. All has to do with the slope, which in turn goes into sling settings, pop settings and ramp heights. It was all very intentionally built. That being said i don't really mind if someone wants to bump slope and make it play like all the other tables on everyones popper but yeah in my opinion it plays exactly how it should.
Thanks that makes sense
that's a cool story, glad you got to chat with DRA, that's neat
Heard some of their songs in TGO 2003
I wrote every storyline on this album
Thanks so much for sharing this Scott. This and other of your videos have really helped me get into this hobby and coding up my own. Thanks for that! The code for the Orbital machine is really, really nicely laid out and commented well which I appreciate, so trying to use it as a foundation for the custom table I am working on. Very grateful!
Wow, I played this table tonight. Late to the party since I got my cabinet tonight. I think this was my favorite table so far! What have you been up to lately Mr. Wickberg? Any desire to make any more tables?
Would love to create more tables, but it's just requires way more hours than i have in my life at this point unfortunately. Maybe someday in the future, but i wouldn't hold your breath.
Best singer songwriter ever 👌
The most underrated song writer of our time

Spent ages trying to find Take It Or Leave It anywhere online as I have it on an iPod I bought a while back
Prolific? Yeah. I never tire of Ryan Adams. There is life after Summer of 69
This is very cool, nice collection! Is the first track a different take on Hallelujah maybe? Very similar intro :))
So damn good.
Ghost. Ryan at his finest.
I discovered Ryan when he covered 1989. Can’t get enough of his sound.
I wrote this….good render
I am from Mexico from the city of Guadalajara and I found this album a long time ago in a record store. I bought it and I really liked their music but I never found anything else from them. Apparently it's a local band from Dan Diego, California. I don't know how his music got here but from time to time I listen to the album...
download link?
These are really cool, I wish i could put them on my spotify
I say that while I'm drunk texting all my exes at 2 am btw just for some perspective
Kudos to you scott and ❤ you Jens
Almost all these songs aren’t released whatsoever.. amazing.. miles better than most boomer bands entire back catalogue & from a 2 year period🤣
it's pretty silly his level of creation
Hi Scott, I've decided that this is my favourite compilation of Ryan's music from that era. Many thanks for posting.😄
Do you have any information to share about how these tracks were originally released, or how you came to acquire them if through unofficial means (e.g. website promo etc.)? I've never heard Burn Down the Avenue before, even though it's lyrically the same as Do You Remember the Riots? Love the strings. Great job on this.
yeah many were on tour EPs and mixtapes. Some Jens would just post for download on his website back in the day. You can see a list of most of these on discogs. www.discogs.com/artist/317007-Jens-Lekman
Thank you,@@scottwickberg413 😎
If i could muster the attention long enough to really decide, this would def make my top 5 favs. Maybe even top 3 🤔... That's of course only IF i could ever narrow such a thing down. IF ever, this song makes the list regardless. This performance of it takes it there that much more.
"Everybody's dancing as the ship goes down" from Cracks in a Photograph. He is definitely one of my favorite songwriters.
It appears the link to the framework isn't public/available anymore. Is there somewhere else I can download it?
published again, not sure why it went down - app.archbee.com/public/TpXG6KKl5ATLNyJNK-LN0
Thanks so much for doing this series! I've been dreaming up a design for ages and had trouble making progress until finding VPX and your channel. Now I can see the whole pathway from a virtual to physical machine right in front of me! And wow do I love this design!
I was missing him when snap....these appeared. A listening gift, so thanks for whomever this was that shared.
legend
Thank you! My favorite thing they did.
me too, there are tracks on the other ones, but the vibe on this one is just so complete and encompassing.
@@scottwickberg413 no one I know even knows who they are!
This was my favorite of theirs. Every song is incredible. Wish I still had this CD.
Underrated band.
Some of my fav. songs are unreleased...Even though there are tons of songs he has released. Lol.
Thanks for sharing this!
I find it absolutely perfect that Angelina opens the playlist Thanks a million for compiling and uploading this I havent heard half ofthis smaterial Perfect summer day at the oregon river and im ready to delve into this
Two very good, distinct, singers in a band is rare treat.....man I loved this album since 02!
Peace, I'm 5 months into this hobbie and you've made the impossible seem very possible. Thanks for this.
Nice mix. Nobody makes sad better Ryan Adams.
It isn’t sad, it’s narration and DRA didn’t do it, I did it
Is this still the framework to start with in 2023?
prob not
Lol I have the same question, but its 2024 and I haven't found any other better options out there
Probably best to start with the VPW example table.
@@soma_rc I had been using the example table to learn, but thought that Orbital might be as suggested, the next step and the better starting point for building a table. So I began with Orbital by moving things off the table. Then I got confused by how items were locked and grouped :/
Love that you are getting those urgent client messages whilst working on pinball... the ultimate distraction. :) Thanks for the video, now I just have to figure out how to import the texture for the obj file.
one of my favorites : 'idiots rule the world'.
