Просмотров 8 тыс.11 месяцев назад
This documentary film explores the creative evolution of one of the world's most extraordinary contemporary artists in modern times. El Anatsui stands out for his ability to transform used materials like bottle caps into breathtaking tapestry. His works as a migrant artist from Ghana and academia at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka as well as his exceptional works at the Tate Turbine Hall were...
Arguably the world’s most important living artist. Only a handful of comments. Unbelievable. I mean the work is breathtakingly beautiful, original, undeniably important and what are western kids doing? Chasing clout by doing anime knockoffs? The irony of the ‘attention economy’ whereby those few things truly worthy of popular attention are largely ignored.
Bravo Kathryn
Wonderful insight
Na exam bring me come here oo 🥲
This is a wonderful documentary. However, adding subtitles would have been helpful, as I am unfamiliar with some words and their spellings.

There's intrinsic value in "no value". To see value in no value, we have to have "inside eyes". Congratulations Mr. Sunday Ernest for your beautiful works.

Simply Brilliant!
Dr. Sylvanus is a genius par excellence. I'm glad I learn from him everyday.
This is illuminating, expository and thoughts provoking. Good communication and unconventional delivery.
Well constructed and educative speech presented by Mr P.E.S I learnt something new on Cultural Identity, Political Identity, and Music Taste. Thank you.
This is a very educative presentation. A broader view on identity, taste an culture and how music sync with all of these. Thanks you Dr. EPS Such beautiful presentation could do better with a great audio quality. The lighting wasn't as great too. Same as the cinematography (that camera view that showed the speaker's face from below his chin wasn't ideal). IAS UNN can do better next time I believe. Once again, thanks for such highly educating presentation.
Identity is Everything? Oh wow, never thought about that before 😮 I have learned something profound from this presentation! Thank you so much Dr. Peter!
This was a very interesting and informative talk. Thank you.
Lovely.... absolutely so!!

This is awesome, huge and genial!
Dr Emeka Okpara's new body of work is great.
Thank you Rebecca and the IAS for this presentation. I'm very impressed with the reactions of the three Nsukka professors/lecturers. Nigeria, if it must continue to exist or fold-up needs at this time more conversations and efforts as this. Well done Ozioma.
