story time . last year i was finishing up my last year. during my last year at school i had only one song playing while studying, sleeping and going to the store. my any issue i had before going to the store, rain, snow, day night. i'd put my ear buds in and play this. but each time i played it. it never bothered me too much on pain. i simply let my mind wander while walking. and tbh, all i thought of was how i would tell my mother the...i did it. i graduate. i would tell her i did what she was afraid i could not. and...i did. but..even when victory was so close. death. always wins. it broke me, tore me down, ripped me to shreds because the only thing i thought of was that SHE was there for me. but i wasnt there for her. even looking at the casket.... it pained me. to see her once vibrant and lively body . now linger as a shadow, looming over me simply to remind me that congrats, you won, but at what cost? and through it all, the only thing that kept me from being pushed over the brink, was this song. the same song i will remember as.... "my harmony of tragedy."

The combination of this music and this image gives me a very specific vibe. It's thousands of years in the future, and humanity has made it to various exoplanets including hospitable Earth-like worlds. One planet has an atmosphere much different from ours, where the storms are filled with dozens of tornadoes. But unlike Earth tornadoes, the cyclones on this planet are just gently rotating columns of cloud that produce only a light breeze. I see someone in a small spacecraft weaving between the twirling pillars, admiring the unique shape and even flying through them. They almost look like stone columns, holding up the sky itself.

There has to be. I can't go out like this." As you try to run, your legs get more and more tired, you begin to slow down. You think, "I can't go yet. It's not time." You try to run again, this time, your legs don't even move. You hear a familiar voice call out, "it's okay, you've done all that you can. You did your best. Your work is done, and you can rest now." As you're walking, you relive memories of pain, sadness, joy, fear, wonder, amazement, and love. You reach the edge. You turn around, take one last look at the life that you led. I was just watching a history lessen about the Mongols while listening to this. They were talking about how they decimated cities and tortured people for information and, the video made me realize just how terrible it really was, normally its just like "oh yea people died and it was terrible" but, this time it really hit me, just imagine being those people who were just tortured/killed in war. It really was horrific.

I am not sure why, but every time I write stories, I will always listen to this. It just helps me think. Thank you

I'd always been scared of tornadoes. The siren goes and the pit in my stomach swells with nerves, and I can't move, both in awe and confused, but theres an infinite moment between the first lightning's flash and the distant rumble. That's... 1... 2... 3... 4 miles away. I feel it on the inhale. I am suspended in weighless waiting. It's a fleeting fascination, it's a sense of wonder that melts the fear away as I hold on to see if the funnel is hidden in the clouds, perhaps wrapped in the rain. There is no feeling of dread here. This is no longer an unwanted sorrow. I simply exist, lay in wait, and accept this moment even if it's my last. It's then that I realize life is a storm in much the same way a tornado is, and I've spent my whole life cowering.

The end of the world wasn't what he'd expected. He expected hellfire and destruction, he thought the nations would obliterate each other with nukes. He thought there would be a mass panic and government collapse. He thought it would be chaos. But it wasn't. The end of the world was calm. Everyone living their lives normally. Governments arguing but continuing on. Order throughout. Then it happened. Out of nowhere time froze, everyone was in a trance. Everyone except him. He walked around the world as it was slowly retaken by vegetation. Not being able to change anything and not being able to move on. Everyone still in peaceful bliss. A year past. Then a decade. Then a century. Then a millennium. Nothing changed. He still roamed the world. Everyone still frozen in time. Nature completely covering the earth. He never found out how or why it happened. He walked the earth several times, over the time frozen oceans and through continents. The end of the world was calm. Nobody knew it happened. Nobody would ever know. He lost track of time. After an eternity he noticed the sun getting closer. Another eternity passed before the sun consumed the earth. The end of the world was calm. No chaos. No instant destruction. Just the slow calmness of nature. The impending doom of the sun. In those last moments he was relaxed. All humanity was blissfully unaware. Even being frozen in time wasn't enough to save him from the sun. He was burnt. Humanity was burnt. The world was burnt. The end of the world was calm.

i feel like im watching the whole universe end from afar, galaxies merging, stars shifting rapidly, misty explosions, but it looks beautiful i accept that sometime, things have to come to an end, as memories of wonderful and beautiful things that happened in its time pass by even little moments like having a laugh i close my eyes and feel the aurora concealing me, it has been a wonderful time, hopefully we can see again.

Your mother and father floating away into the deep blue-grey, leaving behind story and past life, waving goodbye and then looking on, leaving you behind but not forever. Going to their future, someday to yours. Fast-forward in time and you find yourself with your partner or your friend, waving to your kids or whoever else before turning to face your future in the tornado of life. You then look for your parents or elders and you cannot see them at first. Then the mist clears and you realize that this new life is not at all the afterlife, where you permanently rest, but the second chapter of an infinite metaphorical book series. The mist clears and you see everyone. Even some vets from the civil war and even before that who chose to stick around. Or re-read the chapter. An infinite cycle of life never understood before. The wind settles in and the tornados sweep through, only visible to those who have been picked to go, those who have spent their time and played their turn. Sweeping through and taking all but memory. Memory of the past, and optimism for the future. And whenever I hop onto some Roblox game, where the most poetic sentence I hear starts with "A Skibidi Sigma Pomni" I somewhat long for those tornados, yet I am far from the end of my first journey.

In every cacophony, there is a beautiful symphony. You just have to search for it.
