I will get around to the key change on my next call weekend. Only one evening of practice on this tune, so could use a little work. Tried to mix it for people on their phones - sounds better with headphones, but a little hot on the bass (not that I'm complaining)
For the nerds: Fender P bass - DI - amp sim - compressor. Tone knob rolled to about 40%, don't forget the sponge.

I unfortunately don't use AllTrails or anything like that. The route we took is essentially the nearest trailhead to Grand Marais heading north till we hit the Kadunce River. One of my favorite sections on the trail for sure.
Look like you had a lot of laughs, and made some awesome memories. The SHT is an epic experience.

Thanks Andrew! Hoping to come back next summer. Have been doing a bunch of learning about avalanches since.
@@drewsternecker in summer and fall, the risk is generally minimal to non--existent for the south climb, in winter & spring it's an entirely different story. NWAC does a great job with avalanche forecasts during winter/spring. There are windows where it's relatively safe in winter/spring, but getting to the trailhead becomes more difficult due to snow and tree-fall along the road to the trailhead. Pay attention to the NWAC reports this winter and spring and you'll get a feel for how long the avalanche season lasts, which slopes get affected and how often.
