If you fish a 10 inch hooklink in silt on a leadclip and expect the lead to bury 5 inches you’ve got a 5 inch hooklink with an ultra heavy lead (plugged). So really a long rig in silt, if you expect it to get plugged slightly is probably about the same length as a short heli rig. Better mechanics on lead clip imo

Just a thought whilst watching this and something that never occurred to me before.....why is it that it's bad etiquette, thrown upon to leave your rods....be 50 yards up the bank in your mates swim when your rods are out ....but ok to be out in a boat for 20 minutes whilst your other rod screams off? No different is it really! Even worse out in the boat!

carpfishingextremeUsa. 600 Carp on just 26 acres seems be make easy fishing but it definitely is not !!! The lake is full(!!) with weed and other stuff everywhere. You must find the little holes that are there otherwise you are chanceless.

Iv caught more carp on a standard mono hair rig than any other rig fished side by side, sometimes ill use a braid rig if snag fishing or stick a shot on for a pop up but that's it really .
