How do i remove the THIRD ROW?
Thank you! Could you have left the smaller 55 lb seat in the car? I want to remove the other side and the third row.
Yes. Leaving either seat shouldn't be a problem. A consideration is the electrical connection for the installed seat. As a precaution, I would unplug it and annotate (for myself) the electrical functionality for the installed seat is not connected to the Subaru Ascent electrical system. I assume this may include a seat-belt alert system and seat-heater, (more or less). You'd have to do some electrical troubleshooting beyond that., as I'm merely a backyard mechanic. Hope this helps.
@@HowBillDoesStuff Yes that helps. Now i need to rewatch and grab the correct tools and secretly hope a man comes along and handles it for me....just sayin.....
How do you know which of the 8 programs is running?
Good question. I am not sure if it has that capability. I don't remember if I noticed any program # displayed during the ON-period.
Your description of how to set this timer is the one I found to be A1 thanks.
Glad it helped!
Thank you . . . . now to find a way to re-sync it with the outdoor sending unit
Im glad it was helpful. Sorry for the delayed response. BTW. For my first Taylor 1730 thermometer, the transmitter died after about 2 years. But, I like the display & bought a second. Then I had one transmitter for both (two) displays. Worked great for about 2 years! (hurray) until the 2nd transmitter died (booooo). BTW, no, a battery change didnt help. I keep both Taylor 1730 displays for an inside-only thermometers and purchased an "OBET Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Wireless...". I hope the "OBET" lasts longer than 2 years. Sorry for my long winded response; but I naturally talk too much. Hence why my videos are silent. LOL. I hope this information was helpful to the issue of your "re-sync"
@@HowBillDoesStuff I appreciate the insight and the shared experience with the Taylors. I got them re-synced and they are functioning correctly once again. However, I am oging to investigate the OBET version you mention here. Thanks for the suggestion. Merry Christmas. Peace.
Thank you 🙏
Extremely helpful! Takes guess work out and anxiety away from the task. Planning to convert Subie Ascent to a minicamper.
Sounds like a great project. We love our Ascent!
Great instructions and video. Very easy to follow!
