Tribalism is the key

Bring on the national club comp! Rugby needs to capitalise on the strong tribalism that exists at the club level!

Some of these questions are just shocking . Ask about the wallabies and how they think the side would bounce back and about defence but you keep asking about the ABs and if they are weak 🤦

I think the national club comp has limited merit as you're going to be excluding so many areas that need to be fostered. On current form, Western Sydney will not be served from such a comp as those clubs aren't likely to feature. The same is true for outer Brisbane. It also misses an opportunity to build cohesion and develop the best players from multiple clubs. Super Rugby clubs run year round. Contracted players are currently in training. Wouldn't it be better to just do Super Rugby AU and potentially split NSW and QLD into City and Country or Sydney and West Sydney etc so you've got more teams, the opportunity to develop promising club players whilst also making use of your existing facilities, coaching setups etc. To save funds on stadium hire and retain an intimate atmosphere, play the games at Daceyville and Ballymore. Get a few food trucks, invite some local breweries and make it a Beer, Food & Footy-like festival.

They beat the rabbits by an intercept in that GF and the other two were against teams that didn't make the finals at all the year after... They have also lost back to back world club challanges (they have the worst record of any team in those games). They are absolutely not perfect. The storm crunched them when they faced off in a GF

Its funny how no one talks about the current Rugby Australia administrators . How many of them have specialised in sports administration? Why is this subject not spoken about ? Why are the so called Sydney old boys club still running Rugby Australia and technically running it to the ground ? Why is there no royal commission to investigate the abject failure of rugby union in Australia for the past two decades ?

First off great chat. I have to agree that our game needs to be attractive to keep and get new fans. With Australian market so competitive it's showing the rest of the other nations that you will run into problems just with different codes like NFL and the NBA.
