I tried with the razor but its almost impossible not to scratch up the edge. What i did was, in frustration, force push the spudge into the side edge. After a few attempts it came apart. Then i could unclip the whole thing without scratchibg. Careful if removibg the battery. Its soft at the eges. Easily damage it. Pry it gently on the long edge and then work around. Worked for me. The charge port comes out just 2 screws. Happy about that. Now i can swap that out as well.. No soldering.

Great job, short and sweet. Hundreds of 5/10 + minute videos showing people how to put a disc in and push a button, less than two minutes to know how to properly maintain it. Nice one

Good video helped me clean my machine

For those who cannot get it to start the cycle. Before you do the bit when you hold the button. Press the button once as you would when making a coffee. This will let out one cup of water. You can use this for one cup drinks such as making a cup of tea with the bag in the cup normally. When the machine has dispensed a cups worth of water the lights stop, again, just like you are making a normal cup of coffee etc. Now hold the button and it starts to descale.

I can sit here and say how many things are incorrect and how incomplete this video is... But it's not worth it, all I need say is you're better off watching the official descaling video by Tassimo, all models work exactly the same, big or small, as the only difference is size

I have replaced two of these and have never needed to remove the battery to do so....saves even more time.... just saying...... Just use the black clips to unclip and then clip in the new part. Simples! Thanks for the vid though.
