Rob is THE one and only Priest singer (even if Ripper Owens did the job) Rob is THE metal god. I'm a metal singer and I know that Rob would teach me a lot of things and I would listen to him with very much respect !

@deraickripper I'm an english teacher, but most of all, I'm a linguist, let me tell ya, not everybody can learn it that easily "defend yourself in a language" is not to speak it, moreover, not all asian languages are difficult from a phonetic point of view (good listener you said), I also teach phonetics, many student find the sound of english to be challenging... of course tone languages like mandarin are very hard if you are not familiar with tone being meaningful, but there's more to language

@louisplague I agree with english being more difficult than people think, and I believe it's pretty amazing you speak 2 languages, but, as a linguist, have to disagree with spanish bring stupit, it's got very interesting phenomena too, like the rich marks for aspectuality just to name one... besides, all in all, no language is stupid honey...

I was there! i was so fucking tired, spent like 6 hours strugling with the other guys to get to the first row, i only made it to 5m from stage (before Judas priest was WhiteSnake and Rata Blanca), but still a great concert, one of my first big metal concerts! Unfortunately, 2 weeks later on the same stadium, was Megadeth, but i hadn't money for the ticket, so i missed the Blackmail the Universe tour

Rob has (and always had) except his very strong interpretational talents also a very distinct stage presence. Some mixture between an metal android and a human brain, or was it vice versa? Anyway, he manages to no only sing but to present songs in quite an uncopiable way. LIke here - not that very high screaming, but then again immediately recognizable, the metal god. I don´t think we have many other such recognizable characters in metal.
