excellent point: why give th company standard to two squads on a flanking move?? Let alone why would you do that vs. keeping it with the main body of the company where it can better, you know, inspire, and be, you know, protected from falling? Lack of basic logic there...

It is *really* difficult to hear you, with the music this loud. Combined with the actual patch notes not being on screen, I honestly only caught about 60% of what you said (and I don't have enough attention span to watch the video again). So turning down the music would be really appreciated. "No scarab swarming will be appreciated by new players" ... No. No it will not - speaking as a player that has played for just under a month. Scarabs are supposed to swarm, and finding a counter for it takes very little trial and error. The swarms are also pretty critical for certain quests, if you don't want to spend tons of energy on them. Just one example off the top of my head: There's an early guild mission to deal 50k damage against scarab units (which I only just completed last week). That will be absolutely horrible for new players going forward. Not everyone has money to spend on the game, and removing the "easy farming" on scarabs will make some things quite a slog. Considering the amount of characters new players have to scramble to upgrade to have even the chance at getting anything out of events? We need the energy for campaign battle raids for upgrade materials. I like that we get to "borrow" characters for certain events - but when we borrow them, they're not upgraded - meaning they're pretty weak. Again meaning that the rest of the characters have to be better upgraded to compensate. I can already tell, for instance, that I'm not going to get much out of the upcoming Death Guard event. Of the 3 required characters, I only have Malladus. This is not meant as a complaint about the event or how things are done... I'm new to the game, and I don't have money to throw at it, so I expect my progress to be very slow and that I will miss out on things, because my characters aren't strong enough. But hearing you talk about how you might not bother to ascend the character, and how it's a problem for you because you just spent all the effort upgrading another character? Sorry if this sounds harsh, but you're completely out of touch with how it is to be a new player 😅

Scarab swarm change seems mainly like a nerf to finishing certain quests for 6 energy, rather than a buff for new players, idk

Great summary, thanks Buzz! I have Pestillian and dont think its a very useful character, I will probably get the base battle pass for the extra resources and the Pestillian shards will just be a bonus this month.

The scarabs not summoning is a tragedy! They are perfect for farming to get through certain quests quickly where you have to kill 250 with melee or ranged respectively without wasting all your energy.

As a fellow Nurgle follower I'm always happy seeing Death Guard getting some attention, especially since Corrodius and Mmaladus are my 2 strongest units, Rotbone close behind and I just recently unlocked Pestillian currently leveling him.

Rotbone should absolutely be one of the core three for a DG campaign. I guess it does not matter all that much, especially for people that have them all, but Pestillian seems like a reach designed to promote BP sales...he's a distant 4th or 5th out of the DG IMO.

rather than new factions I just wish that they create new campaigns using some of the newer factions, so we can build or unlock characters which is a grind to deal with. To me that is what holds back this game. The grind is ultimately boring and the events are just annoying without a decent team. There has been a number of times I thought about jacking it all in because of it..
