Hopefull XBOSS will make it to the Tassie HTA in March 2025.
looks great, thanks. I'll be using this, i am not paying por15 prices
such a well spoken chap
Martin’s coupe is my all time favourite from the HAMB since I first saw it. He has captured and described the essence of hot rodding in the car and this interview. It’s a long way from Ontario Canada to Melbourne, but if I ever get there, I’ll look him up and beg for a ride! 🇨🇦🇦🇺
Great band! Thanks!
Oh putain merci!!
This looks like it was filmed at the Melbourne location. Ben has moved to the USA and now runs Rancho Deluxe at a new location.
Why the fuck is this cut up to pieces. Ruined
G day Greg, what size gun tip did you use? Was it a high or low pressure gun? What psi? Sorry about all the questions!
Ben is a really nice guy if you ever have the chance to meet him.
Those Early British cars are the worst!
Don't forget to install a proper water pump Rod as you would have learned from the Professor after we fixed the Lincolns cooling system problems.
Very cool 5 window 👍🏻
Still got it....whatever Retirement Home they go to...I wanna join and jam with them....crack a few tubes....the Oldies go out headbanging!!! OI OI OI!!!!
Killer hot rod. I found this looking for ideas on how to design my rc cenracing fiat abarth hot rod build. Doubt ill ever have money or skill to do what you do.
G'day Rod, I hope you're recovering well after the stack. Watching this is like watching Taddy.
I saw this at the 79 nationals Albury Wodonga (I think) what a sight with the wheelie bars and the sound of the super charger great memories.
🤪 *Promo SM*
Such attention to detail. Beautiful EH. Appreciate the detailed video. Well done.
"slick"... silver looks great in those jobs.
Could of picked a much better colour for the EH and HK and the wheels look Shit. Far too Big. Why put huge wheels on cars that make them a rough ride and Fake looking?
Good stuff. Who's the music?
The music is by an Australian Post Punk band called “ X” open.spotify.com/track/2KaKThTovcd7mt0y0ngEU3?si=jVo819bFSbGEZS-zvkfiqw

It’s custom but your putting yourself foot in your mouth saying most custom anyone can do sorrry that lad you haven’t seen American customs
He built a car that was a finalist in the Ridler award, all Greg is doing is giving advice from years of car building. Trust us, Greg knows American customs
Looks like a cool event. Let me do your video/edit next time
Just found your channel thanks for the videos cool cars
Glad you like them! Don’t forget to subscribe. Trying to grow our audience so we can make more films so share the channel around. Many thanks
Very interesting Is that a Fiat engine?
La France from a fire truck.
See more about the car here www.whichcar.com.au/features/rod-hadfield-fire-chief-1948-fiat-topolino
The videography on this is excellent. Fantastic video.
Thanks mate, share it around trying to grow our channel and make more of these kinds of films
absolutely amazing place ❤
This guy needs to have his own channel! Who is that Kiwi guy who has the T-bucket with the twin engines and 4 Blowers in the states BTW?
Too bad you didn't show the car. Legs broke, couldn't walk around?
Just going thru old interviews and loading them up for your viewing pleasure. We will load up a supercut which will show Rods entire collection
Where's Queen Jolene when you need her ???
Work of art !
Aussie hot rod legend
Love it!
I did notice that 2.27 mark the bonnet sits level with the eyebrow on guard on drivers side but is lower than the eyebrow on guard on passenger side. Always will be the most awarded car in Aust. Will be checking out the Shepparton museum on way to HTA in Mildura. Have met Greg & Shaun a few times. Will hopefully be able to stop as Greg's paintshop.
This car is an Australian Custom Car Icon and the height of custom car quality and originality in my opinion, a real thing of beauty
Really Beautiful workmanship , much respect to Greg and the Guys at Maskells
Had the privilege to meet Greg & Chris a few times. 2019 HTA in Bathurst. And recently bumped into Chris at Hotrod & Custom Car Expo at Rosehill. True gentleman & Legends. Will hopefully be able to stop at Greg's shop for a visit on way to HTA in Mildura in November.
All the old Holden's should have had V8s from the factory.
Crikey, nice build.
just WOW!
Nice work greg
No offence but putting a v8 in has spoiled the integrity of the original EH ethos. Don't get me wrong you did a great job. But, how sweet it would have been with a special red motor build.
Nice EH mate. You guys have done a great job customising it,looks magnificent. 🙂👍
Can we talk $$$ dollars for the EH
Would have to be $150k
really good reprenstration of your work .
Don't worry about the EH talk about the HK Monaro that sits right behind
Watch the entire video, HK Monaro discussion in the second half
The best original V8 69 Monaro I worked on in the 1980’s was a single lady’s car in Parramatta NSW, she looked after it. It was daily driven but had been stolen and recovered once. So we fitted it with a cobra car alarm. she also used two steering locks one across the wheel and one from the wheel to the brake pedal.
People have been trying to make the "Ultimate" 70's falcon showcar coupe for decades, there have been many amazing cars. XBoss is the ultimate, it will never be surpassed. There is not one area of this car that doesn't surpass every other 70's falcon coupe showcar ever made. Every person that put hours into this should be proud to say "I worked on XBoss" There were many attempts at making the ultimate coupe, all of them amazing - but none will ever beat Xboss. Amazing work. As an owner of a very nice XB Coupe, with factory fortunate gaps, I know what a pile of shit it would look like sitting next to XBoss in every way :-)
Tremendous work From your tradesmen awesome how are you squared the doors took that centrepiece out between the doors awesome
