That SCAMMER was trying to sell you the fake saffron and claim that was the real one. Real saffron releases color more gradually. The Fake ones release their color / dyes more quickly (and he was claiming that even if you leave fake saffron for weeks in water, there wont be any change). It's just the opposite of what he claimed. The only true test is the taste test (but you need to know what a true saffron tastes and smells like).

Who planned the itinerary? It's almost perfect. If organised traffic + more cleaniness, India would have been more tourist destination.
