U can leave their food in for maybe like a day or two but if it’s like fresh fruits and vegetables they can go spoiled quick so u should switch it out daily

6-Ball Animator lol no problem I liked naming them after things from movies that revolve around the ocean, like mine was named Urasla. I have seen other RUclipsrs name them after “the little Mermaid” characters if that helps lol 🦀

6-Ball Animator It really depends on what you want to get for the crab honestly, everything I talked about in the video is basically everything you need but everything will come at different prices. For me I didn’t need to get another tank, light, decor, and water and food. I had to just get the crab and salt water. Tanks can be kinda expensive but I know Petco always has sales on tanks. Meaning $1 per gallon tank so a 20 gallon tank would be $20. Lids are usually $20, but also you will need to buy the salt water which is ab $12 for like 5 gallons at Petco. In all it might cost u over $70 without the crab. Where I got my crab it was $5 so obviously, very cheap. And you should be getting more then one crab so a 20, 30 or 40 gallon is good for 2 crabs.

Starlord Dcon hi so in my opinion they should have at least a 20 gallon tank for one crab. What your talking about if I’m correct is a tank gallon tank almost. That is definitely small for the crab because they like to move around and hide in different places. Also they like to be together because they are very social creatures so a 20 would be better. I definitely recommend a 20 gallon tank and if money is hard tog still for the tank because they can be pricey sometimes at Petco they have sales for 1$ per gallon so a 20 gallon would be 20$. I’ve read that u actually can’t hv more than one male together or when they get bigger they will fight for the space and they rip each other apart. You can only hv one male with many females but U can’t hv more than one male living together. At least that’s what I read and to tell which is which.. the males are more red and the females are more orange. They need a lot of substrate aswell like about 6inchs they like to dig deep and make tunnels. In the wild it is said they can dig down up to six feet lol

John Alien 100% males can not be together for my crabs i have had all female crabs. Definitely would never recommend to anyone to get two males. One male and a couple female is ok but two males is not bc they can kill each other.
