This guy... Man... What a maniac (in a great way) sits down and cranks out the whole Friday the 13th incidental soundtrack with virtuoso styling. I have so many questions... WHY??? To me, the movie "Carrie" is more sad than scary. Piper Laurie, playing the fanatically religious mother of Carrie, was nominated for The Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Unfortunately she didn't win although many thought she would.

Vasiliki Maliaros died 10 months before the release of her only acting role, 'The Exorcist' (1973). May her soul and the soul of Jason Miller, who plays her son, rest in peace.

‘Misery’ continues to hold a distinct spot in my mind esp the scene when Annie placed a block of wood between Paul's legs, and taking a sledgehammer to his feet. No supernatural chills but horrors in traumatising fashion. Two thumbs up to Kathy Bates acting!! And an excellent choice of song at the end of the film.
