Train Your Brain with Asalato: Master Polyrhythm 4 vs 5
Asalato is an amazing tool to train your brain!
In this video, I’ll teach you how to reach a new level of hand independence by playing a 4-beat rhythm in one hand and a 5-beat rhythm in the other. But that's not all-you'll also find extra challenges and ideas for your personal development.
If you're new to asalato and want to learn from scratch, check out my step-by-step tutorial:

Hi there, Master, do you have courses
@@royeventzur hi! At the moment I can offer private classes. But in the future it’s possible that I’ll record a video course.
A good teacher does more than just show. First they understand the whole and how to segment into managable pieces without losing the overall intention. Then they lead and and explain. You did this so well in this video!
@@downinmylights wow, thank you so much. Awesome explanation 👏👏👏
Love ❤️
Thank you ❤
Thank you
Lovely but too fast... :-)
It starts very slow and it supposed to be fast :)
@@rhythm_with_alex Thank you but I meant. Even the slow is too fast for me to understand what you're doing. I guess, I'm getting old.. Nevertheless, it looks like a great exercise.
@ if you want a slow step by step approach - write me here and I will be happy to help you payhip.com/RHYTHMCLUB/contact
круто! без воды, всё понятно сразу.
@@hannahblues9492 спасибо!
I have completed this pice on Payhip. Do you have the next course for Konnakol, or perhaps another pice?
@@vanhai3665 wow, can you share a bit how was it for you and how long did it take to learn the piece? Maybe you can send me a video with your performance? I have another beautiful composition, but it’s not yet packed into online course.
@rhythm_with_alex I’ve been learning it for two weeks. I’m a piano teacher, so it’s not too difficult for me to understand rhythm. I can write it down as sheet music for practice. I break it into smaller sections to learn, and now it’s just a matter of trying to memorize it and be able to perform. I’m looking forward to your next konnakol piece
Hello I bought your course on february, now I see that you have change site and I can't find it anymore. What can I do?
@@francescamarzoli2532 Francesca, hi. Please write us here and describe your situation. What was the website where you purchased the course? payhip.com/RHYTHMCLUB/contact

ruclips.net/video/8IeU79NpcU8/видео.html Hi, I'm from Brazil, and because of this video in the link, I'm in love with this instrument. You provided a very nice explanation for this instrument. Thats a very nice video, thank you so much!
@@TedBrazil hi! Obrigado ❤️ I lived 2 month in São Paulo in 2014. I miss my friends in Brazil.
As a beginner, what kind of music would you recommend for playing the Asalato and by the way you are very good teacher.🙏🏼🇨🇦
@@searay422011 thank you ☀️ as the first step I would suggest to play without music to get the proper coordination and allow yourself to make as many mistakes as you can :) And then something with the tempo 100 bpm. If you sing, you can try to play asalato and sing one of your favorite song, but again it needs some level of coordination.
@@rhythm_with_alex Thanks Alex for the quick response. I will give it a try I should receive them in the mail tomorrow. You are a gentleman and a very good instructor.
Good luck with your new instrument! Stay patient, and remember: if something feels difficult today, keep practicing, and you’ll master it soon! :)
Great technique I like the light touch you use
Thank you!

Just incredible 🎉. And smooth af I'll be sticking with just syncing up my left n right 3s and 5s for the next few weeks at least. 😂. And counting. I gotta get in the habit of counting. 🙄🤣. Anyhow. Thank you for all your helping :)
@@Maxxabstract good luck and some amount of patience to you! 🙌🏻
@rhythm_with_alex well that is certainly a much needed attribute. So thank you. And I pick em up total at least a couple hours a day. So. I must be getting enough from them to compel me. (Ur Def part of that part 🙏🏾) so. That's prolly whatll wind up being what makes or breaks me so to speak haha. 😅 so yes. Patience is Huge. Cuz when I go to get my left hand or a trick move. At first. It feels unachievable. But. Then I keep swinging em anyway. N once I get it down it seems so silly how hopeless it once seemed. Wild :)
@@Maxxabstract everything is just the matter of time and your intentions 💪 Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻
God. You're amazing 💯👏🏾👏🏾🎉🎉
Wow, thank you :)
Is that make yoirself at home? love that sound
