This is the interview that Kurt Elling and Laurence Hobgood gave for their performance with the Sydney Symphony. I have looked everywhere for this material and have not found it. In my opinion, it represents the best of the Kurt & Laurence era. My intent is to share this with those who have never had access to this.

Fantastic vocalist!
He's coming to Sarasota in two weeks and I couldn't be more excited. I've seen him 4 times and have said out loud, 'if I die right now, I'd be completely satisfied'. What a voice! Foolish heart is one of my faves, as is his version of Simon & Garfunkel's American Tune.
The piece paired with, "My Foolish Heart," is stunning! I will be seeing him for the first time, in Philly in a few weeks!

The Sidney Symphony and Mr. Kurt Elling are simply marvelous! Love the music so well that it's inspiring to listen! Again Mr. Laurence Hobgood piano performance is magnificently wonderful!
I'm watching this program video again and Mr. Kurt Elling's voice is so magical to listen to, the way he holds his breath and the intense feeling to the music is simply incredible, wow! I am enthralled, I'm enjoying it so much!
