Science isn't about why, it's about why not.
Baja 5B SBK Flux 2nd run with DJI O3 gimbal V2, no gyroflow applied.
Getting closer to a very nice working FPV bigscale :D

3D Printed RC Jetboat MJet SuperSprint - Third run, calm water, let's get some speed
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.4 месяца назад
I finally could get some longer full throttle runs in. I'll be improving the top speed a bit by reprinting the pump and propellor since I damaged them by using the wrong screwsize. I'm trying out a 3660 1750kv motor soon as well, it'll probably be too high of a KV but I'm excited to see the top speed on that one. The longer mod rideplate will be installed as well for extra stability, you can se...
First Run of 3D Printed RC Jetboat: Unleashing the MJet Supersprint!
Просмотров 6 тыс.5 месяцев назад
The fully 3D printed MJet Supersprint RC jetboat is truly insane. I didn't dare to pull the throttle for longer than a second just yet.. Stay tuned, rougher waters coming up. The jetboat is powered by a 1500kv 3680 rocketrc motor and a 70A flycolor ESC. Besides electronics almost everything is 3D printed, even the propellor! Despite a bit of leakage from the metal motor cooling jacket, the perf...

hi, i saw the post on xmrbazaar .... nice a monero dude 🙂
Do you know the minimum size printer needed?
If I remember correctly the seperated parts fit on a 25x25cm. To print the hull in one piece you need a 40x40cm but its not needed to print it in one piece.
@@MWLaboratories ok thanks because I have an a1 mini and was wandering if it would fit in the 180mm cube
@@heatherlee7616 If you go to the cgtrader page for the supersprint the designer might have added the printer specs needed.
Awesome
What camera are ya running onboard? Thinking about an insta360 go something light
I'm running the insta360 go2 here, the battery life isn't great though and it doesn't seem completely waterproof. Maybe the newer version is better for this kind of usecase :)
What’s the prop diameter? I’m trying to calculate to see if my motor will be suitable
MJet development has a full motor kv / sizing guide on their youtube channel, you should check it out! I'm not sure what the diameter is, I would guess around 30mm
Damn dude! Looking fantastic 👌👍
Thanks man! You're the OG
Stl bitte
it's on cgtrader under mjet supersprint, costs around 30 dollars if I remember correctly
Would be cool to see a reverse gate mod for this, front flips galore lol
Are you using a 5S or 6S battery ? I'm currently building mine using a 3660 2150kv with 4S.
I'm running a smallish (1100mah) 6s battery here
Nice Boat! Have you tried it in a stream? something like mildly white waters?
Not yet, but that's where I'm taking it next :D
only 19 subs?? hell naw
Too kind :D
hey how do you like the radio master remote? Does it give voice telemetry?
I love the MT12, best radio I've ever had. Finally we can have ELRS in the boat/car world! The receivers are cheap, offer telemetry and have insane range. You can program it to your hearts content, I have set it up to call out when the battery of the boat is going under 3.3v per cell. I'll probably be playing with a load of other functions as well for this boat. For example that when you steer there will always be some throttle applied. Or when I go towards the higher throttle range that the steering becomes less sharp.
@@MWLaboratories Wow I just read the description of the mt12! It sounds awesome. I'm gonna get it! Thank you!!
@@RDM3DLAB No problem, you won't regret it!
nice footage, may i ask the name of the used music?
Sure! It's copyright free music, forgot to do the accreditations, it's called; Cartoon - Why We Lose
@@MWLaboratories thanks
that zips pretty good
Yeah, just got 1800mah batteries in to test instead of the 1200mah ones I was using here for a little bit more runtime. I'm also testing a dangerously high kv motor soon (1750kv, might overload the esc/battery but the spec sheet says it should work)
@@MWLaboratories just make sure your C rating is high enough on the battery you'll be fine! keep it up man fun to watch!!
@@robertheuer7670 120C 1800mah is what I'm trying out next. Spec sheet of the motor lists 45amps unloaded, I just hope it won't go over double the amps :D I think it'll be fine as well.
Great build, very nice shots! I like the FPV angle in particular
Thanks! It's such a fun boat, I haven't seen anything come close yet :D Incredible work!
I downloaded a version of this and was never able to find the correct size bearings to put it together.
The right size for the bearings is 5mm inner diam x 13 outer x 4mm thick. I'm working on putting together a hardware kit for sale to complete this boat if you have the prints and electronics.
@@MWLaboratories That sound interessting. The Shaft Seals are the hardest part to find.
I love the colour scheme. I'm just putting mine together now but using 4S. Did you print the hull in one piece?
Yes I did print it in one piece, my motor was a bit too big for the rib in the middle though so I had to dremel a bit out of the model as well.
Very cool! I just finished glueing the hull of my supersprint together today. Going to be buying the electronics soon. Really fun project. Hope to have mine in the water soon. What material did you use to print your impeller?
All the green parts in the video including the impeller are printed in ASA, the hull is printed in one piece in PLA :)
Awesome video man, awesome boat. I just finished an tested mine this week, I’ve had a blast so far with the whole project
m Thanks! Yeah it's such a cool machine. I'll be making some more content about it soon. I want to take it to the sea and some rough waters next.
Amazing! That thing zips. And looks awesome.
Thanks! I don't even think I was able to pin the throttle for longer than one second on this run :') I'll be going to a safer place to test it to it's limits soon!
I tested mine in similar conditions, it was super bouncy I added lil bit of weight in the bow and tried 0' nozzle it was zipping
@@Thequestdude I'll try that too and put the 0 nozzle back on it! I've also read that the longer rideplate mod might help stability
