Revelation is NOT the Canon of the scriptures. You will end up damaging God's purpose for man by saying that. You need to deeply re-think your position sir. Jesus revealed God to us in his teachings. There would be no need for revelation if the old testament scriptures already revealed God. The canon refers to the entirety of the Bible, but revelation refers to what Christ shows us about God in His teachings. There are passages of the old testament that are quite dangerous to be accepted as revelation of God. They are recorded to teach us something about us but not about God. Man was corrupted and so he rebelled against God, and God permitted some portions of the history of his people to be recorded to show the flaw and corruption in man. Take for example: Exodus 21:20-21; Deut 22:28-29; Matt 10:34 and Is 45:7. How would Dr Otabil address that? Are we to trust that it is God's will?
