    This is a darn cinnamon not hard plaque that is sticking to your teeth and gum like a Krazy glue!! Just floss and brush and take your time while doing it without rushing, don't use monthwash and rinse with warm water, do this daily " if you skipped a day it's not a big deal ". Pay a visit to the dentist every year to 18 months for checking and regular cleaning, be gentle on your teeth, avoid eating a lot of candies and you'll be fine. Most of the time, teeth issues are cause by health problems and very bad diet.

    Did you seriously just SPRINKLE CINNAMON on a corn cob and push it around with a toothbrush as an example? CORN, which is SOFT & DRY, and CINNAMON-- a DUST? What are you- a TikTok dentist? This is an insult to people's intelligence.

    This comparison is completely flawed. If she had used a brush and rinsed with water she would probably have had the same outcome as with the waterpik. This is an example of a misleading comparison without controlling for variables. As a dentist she should have known better.

    this experiment is terrible. cinnamon doesnt stick to the corn. she could've just rinsed it under running water and it'd be the same thing. hows that any different than swishing water in your mouth? the fact that this woman made this ridiculous video makes me question her abilities as a doctor. seriously.

      Yes, it can detach gums from teeth or prevent the gums from reattaching. Something similar can happen with aggressive flossing.

      That may be so, but no one is putting their head under a faucet. The point is the water and force do more than brushing alone, not what's the most efficient way to remove cinnamon from corn. Trying to be so smart kind of backfired.

    Waterpiks power is 100psi. It cleans away stuck foods between teeth, but will not remove tartar. Professional Dental Hygienists use either a Piezo or Cavitron machine to remove tartar. These are just a tiny jet of water with a greater psi power than Waterpiks. These do remove tartar. What the public needs is, first an approved liquid that goes onto one's teeth that softens the tartar. Second, something better and more powerful than a Waterpik which will remove tartar. Crucially, it is not so powerful it damages the gums. If I knew of a Waterpik with a psi between 500psi and 1,000psi I would buy it to see if it removed the new, soft tartar that forms on my teeth. It would certainly remove stains from teeth and leave them glowing white. (UK)

      That's the idea. If you ever find yourself with a bowl of corn covered in cinnamon, you can use a waterpik to remove the cinnamon. That way you still get to eat the corn.

      @D G Can you share Diy paste ingredients?

    • @MOAB-UT
      @MOAB-UT 3 года назад

      @@tishavstisha Happy to share. It's very simple. I mix EV + Organic Coconut Oil (solid below 76F type) with a small amount of Xylitol and an even smaller amount of pink sea salt. I bought a silicone tube to dispense it. Tip- if you put that mixture briefly in warm water (above 76F) it becomes a liquid that can easily be poured into the tube- it firms up again very quickly- e.g., 5 minutes in the fridge. Tip 2. If you go camping and it's in your bag- it can quickly become liquid too (don't ask!) (; I do not add any mint as you should not ingest essential oils. All of my ingredients are FOOD GRADE and Organic. I would have no issues if I ingested this mixture. Because there are no preservatives of any kind in my recipe, I make a fresh batch about every 2 weeks. Using ingredients that do not contain water is generally safer- less risk of bacteria. Also, never cross contaminate- dip brush into a glass jar. If you use an air tight glass jar (very good), use a fresh dispenser like a spoon every time. Another key is to use a quality electric tooth brush (correctly) and use a Water Flosser/pik. I still floss as well. The mechanical action of brushing is key- even if I did not use any paste. You also want to rinse after eating or drinking if possible. I bought a pH kit and surprisingly, nearly everything is acidic- some things are very acidic. I also do not use a rinse- many are actually acidic and most contain harmful preservatives and other unhealthy ingredients as well as alcohol.

Has coconut oil & fresh mint in it. Vegan also, but does have small percentage of flouride in it. Plus it’s fun brushing with black toothpaste & scaring your kids with a gray smile when brushing lol. • @stuff8605
      @stuff8605 3 года назад

      It is. Use warm water. Also, for many it takes time to work up to the ideal pressure. Start at the lowest and go from there. I have a ton of fillings and bone loss from taking horrible care of my teeth when I was younger. Just ease into it. If you're having pain using warm water, you either have cavities that aren't properly filled or you have a gum issue.

    • @stuff8605
      @stuff8605 3 года назад

      Maybe when done right after the cinnamon was put in there, but stuff that sits on the teeth bonds because things get sticky in there, so you need more pressure to get it off. Its a very good device. I recommend mixing in peroxide to really kill germs down under the gumline. My teeth and gums are much healthier and the cleanings take a fraction of the time than then did before I started using it regularly. I also recommend keeping brushpicks on hand when you want to clean between teeth and can't brush at that time after a meal.
