God just isn't going to defeat satan just like that & yes He could if He wanted too. the reason why Jesus isn't defeating satan right now on the spot is because there wouldn't be a chance for those who are living to repent & turn their lives over to The Savior. it would be ungodly to do that & it would contradict everything He said in the Bible. God doesn't want robots. He wants you to come to Him on your own. God doesn't force no one to do anything. just like satan did what he wanted to leave on his own free will. lucifer did however came back to God numerous times to repent of what he was thinking. he wanted to know what was in the darkness. he thought God was hiding something from him. God told him 'i made you to serve the light' but lucifer had other plans. the darkness got the better of him. so he gathered up a lot of angels but a lot chose to serve God while a third chose to follow satan. God begged him to stay but it broke God's heart and God was weeping that so many angels chose to follow him. it's your choice whether you want to follow Jesus or not. like i said He doesn't want robots. we are flesh and have a mind but use it wisely & humbly.

Acts is descriptive, not prescriptive. You can't get God's plan for now by looking at how he did it in the 1st century. The experiences of the early charge, the environment of the early church, the context of Israel and the first century, all these things needed a specific response to grow the church in that time. Our time is very very different. We don't have the apostles around receiving fresh Revelation. The church is established throughout much of the world and most of the western world. God is still working in our day of course, but it is wrong to think that he will work now the way he worked in Palestine in the first century.

It my belief. Your confession is between you and God and Jesus. I was baptized when I was younger. But ,threw the years. I have re self baptized myself. I do it if I sin or need to need to get closer to God.

It is not a false spirit, but rather a stupified spirit that is given these people, rûach tardêmâh. In Hebrew, one that is false or untrue is called sheqer, Exodus 20:16, Psalms 27:11. That word comes from shâqar. It is very important that we speak truth and not mix words up. The stupified state is very important here. It is mentioned at other times in the Bible. Yahuah Êl-ohiym (Lord God) made it to be that way.

from my understanding, faith v works in the NT is not divine or human activity, but NT v OT. in other words, the NT system of faith and not the works of the OT law

what was poured forth was seen and heard, which has to refer back to joel, "i will pour out from my Spirit upon all flesh." many think the HS was poured out, but it was the HS that did the pouring, and what He poured was the miracles (what was seen and heard)
