Excellent flip through of the doodles and pre writing. I hadn't seen the flip through of this anywhere. Thank you for sharing. We did TGATB preschool this past year with my daughter and she loved it. I bought the PDF too. I printed it and took it to Staples and had it spiral bound.

That can say p-a-t. Pat. C-a-t. Cat. It will take awhile before they say it quickly unless it is a site word. I'd move on but still practice those pages.

They need to make the connection from blending to knowing what the word is. They can sound out p-a-t but then you want them to say "pat" go through a few at a time and then review some older words from past lessons as a warm up. If they can still read the word without much hesitation then they mastered it. But you are right, she sounds young so no rush!

The need to be able to say the word cat with no hesitation. For reading I use jady A elemental phonics level 1 it is the best

You can do science shepherd Earth Science or physics the lower level. It has short videos and multiple choice journal they answer after video. Quick and to the point. Different topics .

I homeschool because I don’t want my kids to turn out gay, think they are a different gender, don’t start identifying as a cat and I know they will be safe from school shootings. Being a dad rocks.

Hi! A suggestion for science if you allow screens is Science Shepherd. My non science lover loves this Science. It’s short and sweet, we will be using Earth Science next year. Or oh can use Apologia’s Earth Science, it’s a newer version then the one you used this year.

Wow! Your kids seem very young still in their wants. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s lovely when they stay children for longer. I’ve noticed this with a lot of homeschoolers. Homeschooling is very unusual here in the UK. Would you say that it’s the lack of peer influence that keeps them childlike for longer? Hope you have a great holiday season.

I found this curriculum earlier this spring from a RUclips video. I bought the first 3 levels because my oldest is a rising 6th grader and the catalogue makes it sound like an older child could start in either level 1 or level 2. I have looked over all three levels and I am so impressed! I can’t wait to incorporate some of these books into our year next year. This is almost exactly what I have been searching for in a literature program, and we are not even Catholic!
