Thanks lm loving that bass But l have too many now 😆
@@charlieburns1385 haha I know they start to add up. But yea I really dig this one
I’d like a 5 string but with the high C for lead and beautiful chords. 6 string is a bit heavy for me 😅
That’s def a cool configuration! Tough to find those I almost feel like you could just look for a light 6 and then the B is there if ya need it.
True. Though I had the idea to get a 5 string then simply swap out the strings 😅
@ sometimes if you do this there are issues with weighting and string tension and thickness. Def try it! But know that it won’t work always so I’d try it with a cheaper bass. Hope it works out!
Defo better than all the OC previous versions, i do want to hear how it sounds with ODB-3 for a bass guitar!
Agreed! Yea that would be a cool combo
Yessur doc!!! Absolutely sounds amazing!!!💪💯🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the kinda words! Agreed it’s a beast
Agreed I have a squire four string but that sounds lovely
Love my 4’s but yea this one has some punch for sure
Good tone
Thanks so much Nick! Appreciate you
turn down the HEAT!
Means so much to me! Thank you
Painted mine magic black 🖤
Must look dope!
Hey Dylan! Quick question for you..Which Squier do you recommend this one or the walnut cv? If you can describe each neck profile in your experience that would be great.Big fan of your playing and keep posting!!
Hey David! Firstly thanks so much for the support and kind words. Means a lot! As far as the basses go. If you’re really just in the market for a P bass with a strong heavy one dimensional sound, I’d roll with the CV. The neck on the CV is thicker and not as easy to navigate however I would say the tonal richness of the single notes produced by the CV is overall stronger than with the affinity. If you’re gonna put flat wounds on I would 100% go CV. If you want a lighter, more versatile instrument with slightly higher clarity on the high end of the fingerboard and in my opinion just a really really easy bass to pick up and rip on, the Affinity is for you. I find the affinity spurs more creativity in me but in terms of a classic “bass” tone, the CV edges it slightly. Hope that helps!
@dylandebiasemusic So cool for the response from you! I was leaning towards the walnut CV from watching another clip of yours. Thanks Dylan 👍🏻 now I feel more confident on my soon purchase. Much appreciated!
No problem! Happy to try and help. Enjoy your bass!
Yes!❤
Yes I love it! Such a cool run
Groovy!!
Appreciate you brother!
Nice! Sounds really good dude! Nice tone, articulation, and Ghost notes. And you are correct about landing on thirds.
Thanks so much means a lot to me! Yesss landing on 3rds always hits
I like passive on a guitar, but I think I really like active on a bass. Having a switch seems the best though 😊
Yea I love the ability to use both or switch on and off for different songs
Rad!
Thank you! Appreciate it
glad you're back man. the world needs your melodic bass skills. keep pluckin away at it bro!!
Means a lot to me brother! I’m ready to get after it! Thanks for being here
My favorite tone combination! Is this a line from a song? It sounds sooo familiar!
Yea man the tone on this thing kills! Naw just a simple progression
nice. i bet it would sound great if you loop the lower octave bass and do a counterpoint melody in the higher register
Thanks for your comment. For sure agree! I’ll try it and make a vid!
Sounds good my friend.
Thank you bro!!
Bass harmonies overall in general sound so good
Agreed man ! Heavily underrated
My bro when im trying to sleep
lol. Always right!?
Nice articulation.
@@The_paradox_of_Youth thank you!
Super sick! Keep it up :)
Really appreciate that! Planning on it
@yeah of course! Also glad to hear it, you’re hella talented.
hii do you have a video on how to slap bass?
@ yes! Look through my long form videos ! Working on more and have a ton of plans for more lesson content in the coming year.
Bravo, kiddo! Beautiful piece.😁
Thanks so much! Means a lot that you tuned in
Great chords and tones. Excellent review.
Appreciate you checking it out and commenting!
The bass face of rage and anger
Lol I know idk why!?
Nice fender in the background.🎸
That face is gold man 😂
Haha, only one I’ve got!
@@dylandebiasemusica face like that and those skills I bet you can get any woman you’ve ever wanted

Im drummer, but feel always to try play some bass)) thank you for video.. this looks like good option to buy. Like the sound also :)
No problem man I’m glad you enjoyed. Yea 100% I was thinking of getting a second cus I like it so much
That is sweet! I am gonna work that in. Thanks for the share brother.
Thanks for checking it out!!!
Getting my Bass soon. I love how flush the strings are to the neck. I had a beginner Ibanez bass but the strings seemed too high and my fingers got sore very soon
Yea man these wipe the floor with Ibanez beginner offerings . Sounds great! Excited for you
That's a big hand person thing.
Dude it’s true this one is tough unless you got the stretch fingers hahaha
かっこいい
Thank you!!!
Чистое текучее блаженство
Thank you so much!!!
I thought you were about to start playing too young to die by jamiroquai, this is really cool tho
Haha I can see what you’re saying! Similar groove. Thank you!!!
4) primus
Valid!!! Hahah
It’s 5 strings for me :)
Fair enough! Love a 5 sometimes
I have this bass. Always liked the simplicity of a P bass. Volume. Tone. Period. The only gripe I have is the finish on the neck is a little sticky at times. But the tone is amazingly pure. Love this bass.
Yea agree! It’s gotten less so the more I play it though. Tone is absolutely crushing!
Those are some giant steps!
Truly! Challenging stuff
Nice tone brother
Thanks for checking it out! Appreciate the kind words
I've had 2 of these over the years, and they are very good basses. The short scale makes it really easy to play, and it's only got the 1 sidewinder pickup and if the eq is set up just right, it'll play anything with just that 1 pickup. They always have just looked really cool also.
Agree that the look is pretty cool and hip and they’re not too heavy and the neck is a good feeling. I paid 175$ for mine slightly used and was thrilled with the purchase ! Glad you dig yours too
massive props! amazing playing and articulation!
Appreciate this comment so much! Was super focused on the articulation and intent here!
Dude, love the clean tone and effortless musicality - great running into you today!
Appreciate it a lot Mason! Great to see you!
just look at that feeling face
Thank you! Yea when you’re playing music like this it just comes out! Haha
