Italian or Spanish: Which One Should You Learn?
In this video I'm comparing my experience and general information about learning Italian and Spanish. I've chosen Spanish first, then I started to learn Italian. To sum up: ✅ Italian has more complicated grammar in my opinion due to the articles prepositions contractions. But it's more beautiful! Many words also come from English. ✅ Spanish has easier grammar (in my opinion) and was easier for ...

How I Learned Spanish Fast 2024 - 16 Tips From a Polyglot
i am going to choose Spanish
Trillions? Lol.
As an italian i think that unless you're planning to live in italy for an extended period of time you should learn spanish because it's way more useful than italian due to the fact that it's one of the language with the most speakers in the world.
The Italian articles are not that hard because there are rules to determine which one to use. Before s+consonant you use "lo". Contractions happen when the vowel of one word would glide into the other.
Caro can mean expensive in Italian too, depending on context. Caro translates to english as "Dear" or "Valuable".
Thank you
Tu español es increíble. Saludos desde Perú.
Thanks for the informaion and the sources about it too. !
l am a native French speaker. l am fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. My Spanish fluency prevented me to study ltalian because it is too similar to Spanish. Too many similarity between them, too many confusions. lf l persist, l will damage my knowledge in Spanish.
Thiq is what I thought, but when I decided to learn Italian I realize that is was actually more similar to french than to Spanish. I do not confuse both language. Sure they are similar bit not more similar together than the other latin languages
@@fablb9006 As a native French speaker, l was impaired in my learning process of Italian by my fluency in Spanish due to this big many similarity between the two languages. If you want to see one Latin language that is a melting pot of all of the other ones look at Romanian.
I agree, this happened to me because I studied portuguese before italian and I kept confusing the two.
@@alessandrorossi1294 Spanish is way easier to learn when you already know Portuguese and vice-versa. ltalian is too close not to encounter confusions frequently. What is your native language?
I’m learning German. Austrian German is quite different, but it’s not impossible to understand the basics. But Swiss German sounds like another language to me lol
While I do know English and a decent bit of Ilocano (mostly due to my parents and my wife who are all from the Philippines), I'm currently learning Spanish mostly for practical reasons. For one, there's currently an influx of Latinos coming to my home state Hawaii for work. Plus there is a slowly rekindling interest in the Philippines in picking up Spanish again which could mean the Philippines could reinstate Spanish back to official use alongside Filipino and English. And I'm all here for that. This being said, I'm open to also learning Italian which I do consider to be a beautiful language. I think it's good to also know some Italian. But looking at things objectively, Spanish is technically more useful considering how many countries and people actually speak the language. Heck even some of my coworkers speak Spanish even though we normally speak English to one another.
Character a.i. is great for learning grammar and molto molto bella bella zi.
In America, Spanish is prescribed because it is the second most commonly spoken language. However, I would rather learn a language I find to be more beautiful.
Learn them both, they're both beautiful languages. But do Italian first, as it has a lot of complexities that Spanish doesn't have. Spanish is a piece of cake by comparison.
I speak Spanish🇪🇦 Belgium 🇧🇪 Italian and friends 🇨🇵🇮🇹 can i speak Russian Japanese i'm chinees 🇯🇵🇷🇺
That's awesome!
B2 on nine months? I’m not doubting your credibility but I need to see you engage in conversation with a native to believe that
I studied at the University of Valencia (difficult subjects like Statistics, Market Analysis etc.), and have multiple videos on my channels and around the internet in Spanish :D
I am Italian and I tell you , don't learn Italian , it's useless outside Italy most of Italians don't have any respect for their own language , full of English words , one thing is sure mastering both languages it's impossible if one of the two isn't your mother-tongue , you will end up mixing the two .
China is now teaching its students Spanish and making a lot of business in Latin America, the US is already the second country with most Spanish speakers in the world, Spanish is spoken in 4 of the 5 continents so I’d recommend learning Spanish first and then go for Italian.
If I were from Poland (or UK, or D, or SK) I would learn Brazilian Portuguese because is very neutral, easy phonetics, nice people and because of 🇧🇷🥰🏖👙😎😇🤽♂😍
And music! 😍🇧🇷
I am from Madrid and a native speaker of Spanish and French. I speak UK, D, I, PT, NL, Swiss Geeman as well, but never mind, what you’re saying on your video is a quite good representation of nowadays reality, BUT, just for your information, people from Spain or Mexico or Argentina or no matter from which Hispanic country, we will always use a neutral Spanish to communicate with each.other I have been to Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Cuba, etc and I have never ever had any problem because we use a neutral or general Spanish to communicate with others while abroad as a tool. You mentioned Argentina and I can tell you Argentinian Spanish is very clear and beautifuo and very understandable unless the speaker is a weirdo or a peronist. I understand Milei 100%, no difference, just vos or tú, se entiende perfectamente
No te entiendo - habla castellano ibérico".
Do you have personal experiences with upwork?
"languages have been always fascinating me" and you claim that your English is fluent? Lol it should be "Languages have always fascinated me" instead of "Languages have been always fascinating me." I didn't watch any further, it's enough to say your English is low intermediate
Keep up your good work
The enemy comment was hilarious.
caro also means expensive in italian, and sobrio also means sober in italian
A whole lotta yap
Hi Weronika! Well done for learning all those languages! Quick question: why did you decide to learn Azerbaijani? It's a rather specific choice, isn't it? Anyway, looking forward to observe your progress in all those languages! (we already have 4 in common to varying level, apparently)
Thanks. My husband is Azerbaijani.
I understood everything you said in Polish without reading the subtitles.
Greeting from azerbaijan ❤ there are really not a lot of resources for learning azerbaijanian but don't let this stop you . Azerbaijani is an amazing , rich language it has nearly 50-60 million native speakers most of them live in iran due to historical reasons . There are a lot of great poets ,novelists which wrote in that language and also azerbaijani is like a bridge between turkish and other turkic languages .Learning azerbaijani will help you for learning turkish, persian(we have a lot of common words) and other turkic languages .Thank you for considering to.learn azerbaijani your pronounciation is really good for a beginner . Much love god bless!
Innanzitutto complimenti per l'italiano. Ho capito tutto. " 12:02 "i ristoranti di fast food tipo kfc e McDonald, hanno stato aperte..." meglio "i ristoranti di fast food tipo kfc e McDonald sono stati aperti/erano aperti (English might help you here because the exact translation is: resturants like kfc and McDonald's were open.) I'd like to be able to speak russian at least near to this level before June (that would be one year of studing). Congrats for being already there with your italian keep it up. 👍
I speak Turkish and even though Azerbaijani is obviously quite similar to Turkish, me understanding you shows us that you do speak it well enough for someone who doesn't speak the language to understand you. Congrats!
I speak 6 Languages too, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German Italian and English, it is quite cool this, and i am starting to learn Japanese...
Greetings from Azerbaijan 🌹🌹🌹🇦🇿🇦🇿
I was surprised finally someone spoken azerbaijani language as many people don't even know
Not everybody needs to become truly fluent, it depends one everyone's own goals. Some languages I'm interested in, I mainly want to be able to read or consume media. In others I'm fine with "tourist fluency", so I can get along when I visit these countries. Perhaps I later decide to keep learning, but probably not. Perhaps I change my mind on some languages or add another one. It should be fun.
u are amazing
Where did you learn Spanish???☺️🫠
First in High School, then by talking with Latin friends and finally I did two semesters at UV :)
Wonderful 👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you! 😊
@@iamweronika I challenge you to take the Clozemaster 10 languages 10 questions each challenge. Pick any 10 languages video yourself taking the challenge and inspire us. (whether you have studied are familiar with or not). This is a fun opportunity to showcase your talent with a little bit of humility proving you too are human and still a language learner. You can put the flags of the 10 languages you choose for the challenge in both the thumbnail and the title and tag the video as #takingtheclozemaster 10 languages challenge. While also tagging the languages of the challenge. When choosing from a diverse variety of languages consider this, to include some of those you're familiar with, those that you are not, and those that you will later learn. Choosing to include a conlang like Interlingua and an ancient language like Latin will keep the challenge diverse while bringing recognition to these languages (you may surprise yourself). Consider getting a hold of Clozemaster they may be interested in sponsoring the video. We as a community of language Learners need a challenge that we can all appreciate and try together. To get the most out of the video challenge adjust the settings as follows: put the skills to listening, the question count to 10, and the mode to multiple choice. Then you can adjust the account to dark mode (as it's more attractive) and the default speed to 75% for better hearing the questions. Doing a dry run will ensure all the settings are correct. Keep a notepad by your side to keep track of the language scores. Before you end the video it would be nice if you encouraged other polyglots and language Learners to take up the challenge. Buenas suerte Carpe Diem السلام عليكم

Anyone want to learn and practice with me? I want to learn more and I need to practice every day with someone, I don't have friends English speakers hahaha! I think my English level is B! My mother language is Spanish! Maybe if you need to learn Spanish I can practice English and Spanish every day!
This is how I learnt Spanish : I’ve gone to school where Spanish was taught for almost 8 years and it has worked lol I’m not fluent but it’s certainly easy and free .. but has taken 8 years 😂 And I also got a 9 at gcse lol
I love that your accent becomes more Italian as the video goes on
Thank you
