5 Trends in 2025 Changing Gaming As We Know It!
Here are 5 of the biggest gaming trends we’re watching.
1. AI.
While AI is to blame for some of the recent layoffs across studios, it can also be used for good to enhance human output - rather than replace it. Like letting studios tackle larger projects. Generative AI tools are letting developers create and launch assets at scale. Generally, AI tools can be used to speed up development and spot areas for improvement.
2. Hybrid-casual games.
The IDFA used to help mobile advertisers target and acquire high-value users. Mid-core and hyper-casual games especially relied on this. Mid-core games for the ability to reach their niche, high-LTV audience, and hyper-casual games for targeting their f...

You’ll often see them used in free-to-play games so developers can offer these titles for free and still keep the lights on. After all, supporting the game with new content, balancing tweaks, and ongoing live operations takes revenue. So in order to handle all of these ongoing costs, in-app p...

I think Hades strength is that he made the Raid community wholesome. He set up the tone and direction of it, in a way that's not toxic like in other games. He was always welcome to do colabs with other CC's, he avoids drama and negative content. Raid wouldn't be the same without him.
It’s great to see this much greatness in one place. In the spirit of MAGA (We love STASH, FATELESS, GODFORGE and Winning) you guys are Winning, winning and more winning. You guys are all Winners! So let’s go Make Gaming Great Again!
Thanks for having us and for the awesome conversation guys!
Very cool to see people I love getting recognition for being awesome! Great conversation
Great to be a part of this discussion, awesome to work with the Stash team
Congratulations, guys. awesome interview
It is javascript, that's why Hades was reluctant to open the code files, which I perfectly understand 🙂
Loved these conversations! I'm Community Manager for Fateless and, like Archie, started as a "fan" of HellHades. Watched his YT, then when he joined Twitch, so did I. Became a streamer on Twitch, then RUclips and met my husband because of Twitch & Raid. As I commented on the other vid, my life with moving to Romania and having my amazing baby girl would not have happened without the people in this podcast. I also relate to Archie so heavily! I didn't care about youtube until Raid and mainly HH & Ash. Wouldn't have played as long as I did (quit 2 years ago) without HH tools & RSL Helper. And yes, he's forever Hell Hades before Simon 😂❤
Lets go Justin! Check your email boss :)
Excited to watch more of these! Keep it up 💪

Guys staring at his laptop lol
metaverse is just another buzz word, like "the internet of things" or "DEI" or "AI" that's made up of a bunch of smaller things that have been around forever, that they're trying to repackage into something sellable... that people buy into these things just shows that people don't pay enough attention. it's like people are told cigarettes are bad, so they stop buying them, so corporations rename them to health sticks, and hope people will buy them again. metaverse is the same thing.

There is no benefits for gamers. Stop with you bs. Gamers don't want lauchers, they want nice and finished games
Justin, are you speed-running weird bad ideas that very few people wants? =/ 1) weird lawyer service company 2) unwanted gamer NFT 3) weird candy business 4) now non-desired game launcher My thoughts: 1) players dont want an extra game launcher, on the contrary; 2) by focusing on game launchers, you've cut yourself off from about 70% of the market immediately (mobile, console, etc. dont use launchers); 3) by using an extra launcher, the average game devs may end up adding a liability to their game and sales; you are 2-3 videos on the subject of being shadow black listed by players making videos on the sudden explosion of game launchers; a legit threat to your business model; 4) the presented game launcher is focused on in-app "micro" transactions and battle passes... at a time where the PC consumer is getting tired of the flood of these; 5) furthermore, out of the entire Steam library of successful games, there is a short list of games for whom "micro" transactions are compatible, and even fewer for future titles vs already established ones. Who is your target client? The annual 50 games who will try to take on Fortnite, PUBG, Rust, and Football Manager? This seems very weird, like maxxing the local molehill when brainstorming.
1) you can give players choice. they can still play through, for instance, steam or through a standalone launcher that might have that game's news, patch notes, future updates, guides, community/forums, esports scene (if applicable), etc. 2) mobile has gone through recent regulatory changes. google and apple will need to allow third party app stores and payment services (google only). maybe these won't catch on, but it's now possible. 3) this should be an option for the most engaged players. the casual gamer will still use the mainstream launcher IMO. 4) if you look at steam charts right now, i'll bet at least 50% of the top 50 games are free to play, meaning they monetize in-app. for mobile this is even more steep, of course, since freemium has dominated for nearly a decade. 5) see point above. i think you bring very valid points looking to protect the casual gamer, but the casual gamer shouldn't be much affected by direct-to-consumer alternatives. you can also consider companies like Apple - they sell through multiple retailers but they also try to have some additional value by selling directly on their website. it could be more product variety, better service, discounts, whatever you want - you have more control when you own the storefront.
Is this an intern's duumb UX portfolio, or an actual presentation? Over-produced, and hard to understand. Fire your Motion Designer, and hire a guy who understands the target client for whom these videos are produced.
You dont understand game devs nor PC gamers? go watch Chris Zukowski about trailers. Gamers (and devs) dont want weird trailers that say nothing: they skip through trailers seeking 1 image of the genre, 1 image of the UI, 1 image of the gameplay. In this case, as a potential game dev, I learned nothing and couldnt click through the stuff I care to convince me. 1/10 Over-produced, no value.
