Swaybar install overview. Another task checked off a very long list!
Not the most exciting but it is progress. And finishing even mundane tasks will offer a small sense of accomplishment. And bring us one step closer to our ultimate goal of finally letting this beast out of its cage!

Pontiac project recap

Welcome to 2025. I've been working on this resurrection since I brought the beast home back in October 2020 and I wanted to start the new year with a look back at what I've accomplished so far, and offer a glimpse of what lies head. As you can probably guess, most of the work so far has been to address decades of neglect. A look at the 𝕭𝖔𝖌𝖌𝖘' 𝕸𝖔𝖓𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖗 1957 Pontiac, as we found it ➡️ ruclips.net/...

    Backwards, forward or sideways, in the end you got the job done and that's all the matters. That's one reason we're watching (at least me)- to learn. And also to see a great classic car saved and put back on the road again. Great work- looking forward to the next video.

      Solid frame, body and a fresh motor were the two reasons I bought it. It has cleaned up nicely and will make a good driver.

    Rave, glad to see you have returned. It would be nice if the wheel cylinders are salvageable. Do you have a self bleeder kit to finish the job once you get to that point? I hope you get over that cold or allergies you're suffering from.

    Should did a disc brake swap on car that old.

    • @TrashcanGarage
      @TrashcanGarage 3 месяца назад

      Disc swap means Chevy 5 x 4.75 front hubs. Pontiac's are 5 x 5 and evidently those are no longer available. That's what I'm mulling over.

    Hey Dave, did you research the Mopar brake combination yourself or locate it somewhere else?

      I did the research but had a good idea on how it would work from past experience with Mopars.
