I before used on mercedes c220 egr cleaner and contact cleaner mixing them once contact cleaner then egr cleaner 5 times if need more and job done

You should try and drive the car a bit, it should dissapear, if not, cleat it with an obd scanner and pray that it never comes back :)
Great video, cleaned mine out. Was good for a day then service light came back on. This part was replaced a year ago. Glow plugs changed. Switches between service and engine light. Starting to think it's faulty or wiring maybe... been frustrating for months now..
Yes, it can be, but also if it was not replace with a genuine part it could behave like that. Mine is a bit worn out as well, i clean it once 6 months

Unfortunately no, as this is a turbo car and it has predefined maps for horsepower, it s just for the cool sounds

Changed my EGR, now I get a smell of fuel in the cab on start up, any ideas what might be causing this?
@stuartplume9597 Did you also changed the metal gaskets for the egr?, it is possible to leak some exhaust gases and if you are stationary they can enter the cabin
@@tibanu23 I did but I’m wondering if they might be the wrong way round. Do you know which way they should be or doesn’t that matter?

salut am pus si eu unu de asta dar mi-sa auzit doar un timp si imi facea chiar mai tare ca la tine,in mers, am un astra j 1.3 cdti si a facut doar 2 luni de zile, dupa nu mi a mai facut stutut doar sunetu lui normal ai idee de la ce poate fi?
Vezi sa nu fie înfundat ca astea se murdăresc destul de usor, e o solutie speciala de curatat pt filtre. De la altceva nu mi dau seama ce sa aiba

Nice work bro. How did you get over the fuel filter part? Did you need to use the VCDS to enable the fuel pump or try to start the engine to suck in the fuel a couple of times?
I didn't user the VCDS, i put on the ignition a few times, let the pump running and then i started it and it worked without a problem

My car is petrol and LPG. 2009,1400cc. Any chance it doesn't have that valve? I say this because I don't see her anywhere.
the majority of the cars have an EGR valve, but usually the petrol ones do not get clogged

Hello, sir, wd40 is a lubricant, I don't think that it will clean it that good. Try with a degreaser, even a kitchen degreaser should do the trick

Cleaned mine 3 times. Was still jamming. Just seen this video now and not realised you need to actually take off the servo motor. Thats where my problem was. I couldnt even push it. When I did it would get jammed fully open. Sorted now just soaking it then I'll try again 😅

@tibanu23 any idea which way the gaskets should face? I've always put the ribbed part facing the egr valve. My friend reckons thats wrong
@@jackulaoutdoors i ve put them with that part towards the intake manifold, either way, there is no wrong side. it should work both ways

Bagi tot praful si mizeria in motor pt ca este mai rar filtrat fata de unul normal.Uitate in soare ca se vad razele la asta sport ai unul normal nu se vad.
sunt conștient de aspectul asta, fiecare isi face modificarea pe propriul risc. Eu doar am facut clip ul sa arat cum se monteaza si care sunt rezultatele
Și dacă se face o cutie specială care acoperă tot filtrul? Ce risc mai este? Știu ca mi-a spus un băiat cu un h ca dacă i se face o cutie anume in care sa fie filtrul o sa fie mai ok pentru motor, este adevărat? Gen ca cutia originala a filtrului de aer
@@BurbuliaCosmin da, asa este, ideea e ca daca faci o carcasa pt filtru, ceea ce este recomandat, nu ti mai baga si funingine d aia de se mai face pe la motor, el fiind diesel mai scapa pe ici colo praf d ala foarte fin negru si cu carcasa ai rezolva problema asta. Eu sa ti zic sincer am scos filtrul asta ca se aude motorul mult mai tare, si dupa ce ca e diesel imi mai facea si creierul pilaf :)))

What was the symptom and you needed to clean the EGR Valve ?
The engine was interrupting and i wasn't running smooth, and it was smoking a lot

@@slaweksawicki I have replaced the oxygen sensor , i have clean the EGR , i have clean the throttle , i have clean the earth cables underneath the battery ,and finally i have taken out the fuel pump and cleaned it with air pressure .
m am pus sa il schimb si eu pe al meu am desfacut toate suruburile tot nu iese de acolo am vazut la um moment dat cand ai scos carcasa ta aveai ceva chestie de plastic aia e prinsa de masina ? sau e pur si simplu acolo si trb sa misc eu cutia aia mai bine
sau ai rupt chestia aia de plastic ca daca trag de ea asa mi e sa nu stric ceva de tot pe acolo stii ce zic
adica iese si din teava aia de jos si din aia de sus tot trag de ea si nu iese trb sa trag mai tare sau ce ?
cred ca chestia aia la care te referi e un țumburuș pe sparele carcasei care o ține în gaura acolo, mai are 2 prinderi cu inele de silicon care ies relativ repede, la mn s a rupt putin o teava de jos care aduce aer de afara, n am gasit altă metodă fara sa rup puțin aia, iar sus cand scoti cutia din admisie trb compresat mai mult ala de plastic care le unește
da mi si mie linkul de la filtru ca nu stiu pe care sa il iau sunt prea multe

@@bossbaros7027 eu luasem cu diametrul interior de 63mm ca nu am avut subler sa masor dar a fost cam mic, am improvizat putin cu el. Iti recomand sa ti iei cu diametrul interior urmatoarea marime dupa 63, nu mai stiu cat era, parca 72 mm sau cv
