This helps us maintain the linking structure across your content when imported back into Scrintal. Great question! Currently, we don’t have a way to create permanent connections between docs using backlinks. However, we are planning to explore this feature soon! Just to clarify, we have Links and Connectors in Scrintal. Links are backlinks are possible through the content of your docs and boards. They link documents across your entire library. On the other hand, Connectors are visual lines that link items (blocks or docs) on a specific board and are local to that board. We're focusing on enhancing user experience and building out our foundational features first. Your input is invaluable as we explore the best use cases moving forward. Indeed, it’s too expensive, even Heptabase is half the price of Scrintal😂😂 but I really do have a great time in Scrintal in the free trial period, prolly I’m gonna pay after the trial, daamn it’s just too beautiful😅

They did sell a Lifetime license, and repeatedly pushed back the date they stopped offering it. Anyone who missed wasn't in on the ground floor.

i am from india i brought life time subscription for around 14,300 rs around that it was a good choice becaus every software is yearly based but now i think scrintal is too going in to yearly subscription why i don't know they should add additional mind maping feature in to it like ever other mind mapin software has

Thanks for expressing interest in our product! • You can definitely use our boards and docs for daily journaling. We have templates for daily notes as well as journals, and how you choose to lay things out on boards is up to each user. • Our docs support bi-directional links, which work across your library, independent of on which boards the docs reside. Visuality of the links is WIP. • It's possible to implement occlusion by nesting of doc and choosing to fold/show their contents, but there is no dedicated occlusion feature at this time. • Tasks currently don't support due dates. • An iOS app is on our list of highly interesting things to pursue. We don't have an ETA on these features, as we're currently working on updating our roadmap.

Hi Jon! The app isn't available in Spanish just yet, but it’s quite intuitive, as you can see in this video and others available in Spanish. Inside scoop: Spanish is among the top languages we plan to prioritize when we expand Scrintal’s language options. Thanks for your interest!

That's right! Blocks are indeed temporary elements that exist only on the board, while Docs are more permanent and can be accessed from the library. You can search for Docs using any keyword from their title or content in the library. However, blocks can only be found by navigating to the specific board where they were placed. Currently, you can't search for a block directly from your library, but we're always working on improvements!
