found this by reading - Gangster Warlords : Drug Dollars, Killing Fields, and the New Politics of Latin America. Definitely added context to the book. Having traveled to central and south America it makes me sad. So many beautiful people trying or following a way to survive. Making it to the US isn't a guarantee for anything. This movie glorifies so much that is wrong yet that's the life many are facing. We can't trust government, only ourselves.
