Written in 1970 by British composer Stanley Myers.
A classical guitar piece based on music written for the movie The Walking Stick (1970). But is now most popularly known from the movie The Deer Hunter (1978).
This is me playing it on a baritone ukulele, though.

But I like it a lot more now that I'm older.

I really hate this peice when my teacher want me to study how to bring out the main melody. It freaking me out when alto and soprano in the right hand have to play in diffrent dynamic 😂
Its Amazing playing Cavatina part in Ukulele with 4 string that has a limited range of scale, but you can take the "principal" Bas Line and main note of the original Cavatina sheet that sound as close as the normal classical guitar....its nice..thank you for playing it..

Thank you! I would say this piece is intermediate difficulty. Not tremendous in technique, however controlling the different voices can be a challenge.
