I so wish we had more corollas with the 9 speaker jbl sound system like the have in the states.. Bummer about the boot space being that small for a car that big. The cvt you will eventually get used to it but personally I love the sedan version of this car

Basically a wheel barrow on wheels , one of the worst cars money can buy even if its budget , the ride is absolutely horrible

The car staying locked after switching off is a safety feature, until you feel it's safe to exit. Need to look around before you just bulge outa your vehicle nowadays. I'm all for that.

I wish we got the hatch/hybrid in the States, maybe next year. I'd always prefer a manual gearbox but I'd take Toyota's ecvt over a regular cvt any day. The ecvt uses a planetary gear set instead of belts & pullies in a cvt. The ecvt might possibly be one of the most reliable transmissions ever made.

The cvt in hybrid corollas is the only option, but it completely differerent from other brands that use CVT gearboxes. It is called an ecvt.

I purchased this manual car at a 20% discount and have been using it for two years now. I have no regrets about my choice thus far. The only adjustment I've had to make is getting used to the position of the window buttons.

Hi im from Scotland and have a 2018 jeep renegade limited, 1.6 multijet turbo diesel in 6 speed manual, what a great car, mpg is great get over 60 miles per gallon an best so far 83 miles per gallon, lovely car to drive an i just leave auto start stop switched off, never liked that on any cars ive had, used to switch it off in Mustang i had an in the jaguar i had too, an in my opinion my jeep renegade is best car ive had, i totally adore it, looks great in black with silver roof rails,mirrors an grille an silver 18 inch alloys, engine has plenty power too,overtakes are a breeze and gearbox is slick an precise, love my jeep an will keep it for years,looks awesome too 👌👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Very sluggish auto

The 'CVT' is Toyota Synergy Drive (same as on the Prius for 20 years), so at least, it's reliable, unlike regular CVTs. It's a car that's meant to be driven smoothly. In city, I'm sure you can achieve 4.0L and even lower, if you drive really smooth. Expect 4.5-5.0 litres for combined, 6 litres highway (70mph), and 7 litres motorway (80mph). It's not as good as modern diesels at high speed but otherwise equivalent. I don't see the point of the Hatchback personally. Yeah, it's a little bit more compact, but too many compromises.

Beautiful car. Could be better on fuel consumption honestly.

This triber AMT is rubbish. It responds 6seconds after you accelerate,it doesn't reverse in slightly steep places, always smells like the clutch is burning, it makes a scratching sound when you put it on R like you didn't step on the clutch hard enough, it has hiccups like it doesn't know whether to go or stop when you are in Traffic. PLEASE DO *NOT* BUT THE TRIBER AMT.. RATHER GET MANUAL

I was looking at one - Test drove the top of the range one - It's okay, not great though! I felt the plastics were cheap feeling, and the driving position {I am 6.1} was tricky to find that comfy driving position. It drove well, but really has a 'cheaper' feel to everything? Why at this price does it feel cheap? Oh and the clutch for me was a bit odd, it took too high up to be comfortable in traffic! I like the looks a lot - but, it just felt a bit cheap @ 300k!? I have a Ford Figo which is now 10 years old and it STILL feels solid! :/
