    Salut ! Je commence Akabak ducoup j’ai refait entièrement ta simulation du B2 mais j’arrive avec une courbe de réponse différente, notamment avec la bosse sur le 45Hz qui a pris 5db. Un ami a refait exactement la même chose chez lui et même courbe que la mienne… Aurais-tu une idée de là où on s’est plantés ? Sinon merci pour cette vidéo super claire !

      Salut, oui la mise à jour d'akabak 3.2.1 foire les simus si les sections ne sont pas indiquées en surface. Ex : le resultat sera faux sur une simu avec un duct carré 10cm x 10cm mais correct avec ce duct avec une aire de 100cm² en paramètre...

      Akabak makes radiation-based simulations, vent velocity could be obtained if akabak was able to simulate fluids...

      @@plans.systemes so we have to simulate "port noise" from other software and then come to Akabak to view radiation. I'm curious about port (duct) damping, are there fluid formulas to insert into Akabak to help simulate damping fills placed at different locations within the transmission line?

    Is it possible to simulate straight off the LEM to VACS or does it have to go through BEM + Observation before VACS can display the results? What happens if settings on LEM and BEM are mismatched, which result is captured by Akabak/VACS? Tks

      The observations are what VACS displays, without em you won't have any graph so you do need them. Observations can only be placed in BEM as it often allow people to specify an environment in which the cabinet is placed (such as flat ground etc) so you need this aswell.

      @@plans.systemes If I wanted to increase damping fill density for major delay/phase changes, what would you suggest to include into the circuit, an "Ra" before or after "Duct"? I'm hoping to simulate D&D 8c through LEM + BEM "Pressure Box" Is it possible?

      @@naomispirit-evokingemotion2267 For D&D 8c the biggest issue you'll face is a too-theoretical response in the med-high frequencies as LEM is not made for this. if the cabinet has a damping material inside you can play with "etab" property of Enclosures, and "eta" for Ducts. The hardest part will be to know how much damping they provide irl and transcript that into your simulation.

      @@plans.systemes Thanks for the reply, that's exactly what I'm doing. Do you know how "eta" can be converted into "Pas/m2 values? Only when I series a "Ra" behind the duct I can adjust much higher "Pas/M2" values.

    always get an error message, that the pressure point, linked to the vented enclosure is muted.

      And I do too, if I don't use the pressure box's radiation output in LEM. But you'll still get the acoustic response if LEM is linked to a pressure point instead of the pressure box. You might aswell use the pressure box radiation output for the port and 2 points for the speakers for instance, this won't give any error and get you the same graph

    What computer do you use to run akabak? I bought a pretty fast computer (for gaming and 3D rendering mainly) with a 12th gen i5 from intel, and i was wondering if one calculation would take this much time. Thank you!

      Usual BEM simulations takes 5min to 2h right now with my i5-12400F ! I guess you can compare specs on the cpu userbenchmark website
