    I do have a question regarding what you do if the overpass is existing and the sag is being designed to go under the overpass later. In this scenario, if the clearance calculated is smaller than AASHTO requirement, I understand that the designer would need to use the larger clearance as designated from AASHTO (or a state authority, etc). However, when using the larger clearance, the curve length will become smaller. If the curve length becomes excessively small (such as less than 100'), what should the designer do?
