Hi there, The part I'm trying to see how to do it, is as simple sounding as removing the dust cover to the chuck (same TE 60 ATC AVR). Try as I might I cant seem to lever it off with a screwdriver even after dousing the area with WD40 (although that allows me to turn the rubber freely), I still can't get the thing off, because I want to clean out the chuck and check for wear/damage?
In HILTI TE60 (THIRD MODEL, AS IN THE VIDEO) the upper rubber cap is easily removed with a flat screwdriver. Next comes a metal plate that is fixed with a metal snap ring. (Sometimes it is very difficult to remove the ring). Then the plastic parts are removed. In Hilti te60 (FOURTH MODEL), the latest generation, the rubber cap is different, larger, and is difficult to remove with a screwdriver (there is no snap ring). Regards. Alex.

In some cases, there is no point in making repairs, since almost all parts need to be replaced with new ones. Where are you at? I'll see how much it costs to deliver a 10 kilogram parcel. Привіт. Hilti te54 дуже стара модель, більше 25років . Оригінальні запчастини знайти дуже важко. Основна проблема у цієї моделі - дуже швидко зношуються зуби на двигуні та шестернях. Двигун працює але відсутнє щеплення з основним механізмом, тому поршень не рухається. Можливо відсутнє або густе масло в циліндрі. Важко сказати дистанційно. 👍

The Hilti te905 does not have overheat protection. Engine cooling is good, although engines burn frequently in this model. The most common problem is that the magnetic ring on the engine cracks and shatters, and the electronics immediately turns off the voltage and the service light comes on.

When assembling, I leave the switch in the drill position and when I screw the tool holder on, I rotate it a little so that it sits in the right place.

Hi. Oil leaks are caused by worn or damaged rotary shaft seals or the gasket between the top and bottom of the drill. There may also be leakage due to a poor gasket on the internal function switch or rotary shaft seal on the toolholder. Regards. Alex.
Hey mate, doing great job there. I got te76 and it cuts out power , something clicks inside and power is gone. Disconnect and reconnect the back cover helps to power it back on but than it clicks again and power lost , any idea ? Thanx for you help.
Try replacing the power cable, usually what you describe happens when the power cable is broken or poorly connected. The voltmeter may indicate that there is voltage present, so replace the cable with a new one.Regards. Alex.

No one in South Australia can service Hilti except for Hilti genuine service except they said te76 is too old. Would never buy Hilti again.
