Yeah. Especially if you run calibrated shells like I did. Blitz did it right while in WoT PC the stats show the 32 pounder having less penetration but the higher alpha while the 20 pounder has the higher penetration but lower alpha.

@@Nenshokaze 20 pounder is good gun too. High pen both ammo, low damage, high rof and better gun handling compared to 32-pdr. 20-pdr is good for rushing, 32-pdr is very good at 2nd line role plus with thick armor you can engage behind your teammates with ease.

@@jhonfloibelmiculob6581 Heh. If you say so but the stats on paper show the 32 pounder has 0.2/0.3 better aim time and .009 better dispersion. Though the 32 may have worse on movement dispersion. I suppose playing the tank second line is better in general. The armor is solid against those who cannot aim but I’ve gone up against plenty who know to aim for the hatches. Also the lower plate area is an easy penetration too. I did do good in another battle I’ll upload tomorrow but I think if WG wants to keep the thing at tier 8 they need to buff the armor in places. Irl it would have went against bunkers and such more. I think the ATs were likely designed to take on the Siegfried Line same as the American T95. Assault tanks are meant to be turretless heavies but in the game the AT 7 to Tortoise feel weaker than they should be.

@@Nenshokaze Correct on the paper the 32-pdr is much better than 20-pdr, but majority of players prefer the 20 because of high rof and penetration in both ammo. The tanks that you mention along with ATs are called assault guns and their purpose is not just to break Siegfred Lines but also to ambush tanks medium, light and heavies. In real life they're considered as second line tanks good for ambush, defense and suppressing enemy tanks advance. Thats why they have long and accurate guns that have an objective to destroy enemy tanks with 1 or 2 shells, hence they called tanks destroyers, assault guns and casemate tanks. Their role is direct fire support tanks.

Well, the 20 pounder in Blitz has slightly less penetration than the 32 pounder on standard so you’ll have to use premium more but I do think it has better premium penetration. I personally prefer to hit people with more alpha as that can be scarier than getting pummeled to death by high rof low damage. The latter is just annoying but the big guns in the game have that fear factor that make people hesitant to poke.

Hehehe. He forgot to use repair kit and I hit his rack twice. Once to damage and the second time set it off.

Well, I am playing against mostly bots but once you get out of newbie MM the Crusader feels horrible.

@@KiritoTheDoritoInABurito Ah, after I exited the game to end recording was my phone wallpaper. As I said it’s the Type 5 Japanese heavy tank as an anime girl. I have 2 versions. One with green eyes and one with brown eyes. Both named Kogerukaze (Searing Wind) with the second having a Roman Numeral II added on.

I already knew the Bulins thing and already used one for limit breaking Laffey but I don’t have the levels. Also I got further along in this before but started over.

The Firefly’s about on par with the E8 but lacks gun depression at only 6 degrees. Really, it’s tricky to play but the rest of the line is good as long as you aren’t the one getting shot at.

@@thecouchgamered2007 No problem. From what I can gather the Challenger/Avenger is only good if you are skilled. The Charioteer is probably meh. The tier IX and tier X are the good ones.

Thanks! Though my WR in this thing is meh. Like best I can do is around 50/50. The tank is meh at best and if you don’t have a good team… Well, you are done for. WR fluctuates from 45 to 50%. I cannot get it above that. This game was a one off.

@@Nenshokaze I also struggle to get the Wr to stay above 50%, the Wolverine was my first t5 in this game, so I am emotionally attached to it, but i have to agree that it’s not the best td in terms of its mobility, especially the awful turret traverse.

@@thecouchgamered2007 Yeah. Low hp plus useless armor is not a good combination. I think WG needs to not lump TDs all the same when it comes to hp pools. Big gun ones with big damage, sure, make them able to die quickly I guess but ones like Wolverine should have hp similar to medium or heavy tanks. Also they should make the 75/76/77 millimeter guns all have slightly different average alphas by 5 to 10 damage points just to mix things up. Jackson is even odder since it has similar mobility and gains a lot of frontal hull armor but not as much on the turret. 100 hull front vs 76 on the turret seems odd for a hull down vehicle. I’d just put 100mm on both the turret and hull fronts for that one.

Yep! Get ammo racked because you didn’t repair the damage from the initial shot.

Well granted I am in a way a “reroll” but I don’t count it as that as my knowledge of the game is actually rusty in some areas plus I wasn’t intending to make a 3rd and 4th account in the past plus had my old accounts deleted by WG. Still this was insane because of how dumb the enemy team was and the fact I was the only tier VI in it.

@@Cap-9261 Used to be better in some ways. Too many muppets nowadays and WG could do better with the matchmaker. Not that they haven’t tinkered with it but it needs more tinkering with.
