rayman deserves a new good game one worthy of being a sequel to origins and legends and in my opinion the current ubisoft is not capable of making such a game

The only thing i like about th rabbids is that they are Rayman lore.. and it brings a sense of familiarity to me, whenever i watch the show I'm like "Rayman is somewhere out there.." While watching two rabbids have a gunslinging duel with chickens shooting eggs.

Captain Lazerhawk is the worst thing that has happened to Rayman. You can forget about your characters, but changing it like that it's just cruel for original creators. Authors of Lazerhawk had no respect for characters that were created not by them. Rayman is goofy, fun and children friendly (for the most part). Showing him drunk, sniffing cocaine and eating sushi from prostitute's back is just awful. Imagine Mario as drug addict who shoots someone with a rifle - it's bizzare and out of place. Also I think that Lazerhawk is the reason we won't see new game about Rayman. People who discovered Rayman from Lazerhawk want character from the show, people, who loved Rayman before what character from videogames.

To me the real Rayman games are Rayman 2 and 3. I'm not that interested in the 2D games. To me 2 and 3 is the main story/timeline that deserves a sequel.

My hopes would be high if it wasn't that Ubisoft Milan has lost its main devs.
