Ruggable Unboxing | Vacuum Testing | Cambria Ruby Rug
Просмотров 3,2 тыс.4 года назад
Hey Everyone! I just got my Ruggable Rug in the mail and decided to do a quick unboxing and review video. I also test out how my dyson vacuum and robot vacuum work on the rug. I've since added my old rug back under this one because I didn't like having a smaller rug fit the space but it looks great layered over the old rug! I hope you enjoy! XOXO Rachel
Baby Helmet - Our Experience
Просмотров 4,8 тыс.4 года назад
Hey Everyone! I'm sharing our experience with our son 's cranial remodeling helmet. I talk about what we tried to do to fix the flatness prior to the helmet, the process of weaning onto the helmet, how we kept it clean, and our results! I hope this video is encouraging to you if you are going through or about to go through this experience with your child. It's tough being a parent and this is j...

Weaning Off the Nipple Shield - 2 Week Old
Просмотров 15 тыс.4 года назад
Hey Y'all! I just wanted to let you know how I was able to wean my baby off the nipple shield when he was 2 weeks old. I had flat nipples so he had a hard time latching when he was born. After some practice nursing for both him and I, he was able to nurse without the shield relatively quickly. I hope this tip is helpful and you are able to wean your baby if you so desire :) XOXO Rachel

I also have a from scratch lactation muffin recipe that isn't as easy but I think it tastier that I also "created" once I settled in with my new baby and felt I had a little more time to work around the house again that I can do a video on if anyone would like :) I can't say if these muffins really helped my...
Breast Pumping at Work - Don't Do what I did!
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.4 года назад
Hey Ladies! I hope you find this video helpful hearing the mistakes I made when pumping at work. I think you can learn just as much from your mistakes as you can from the things you did right so I'm sharing mine with you! Although I made these mistakes, I think I could have corrected the issues I had with pumping by making the following changes: 1. resized my breast pump valve to a smaller size...

    We did the helmet and it was invaluable. My baby’s head was very misshapen, but the helmet fixed it within a few months. We actually ended up thinking the helmet was pretty adorable on her and the baby didn’t mind it.

    I agree with your husband about the doc a tot. It's funny to me you thought if you would have held your baby more maybe your baby wouldn't have had a flat head because I held my baby a lot to prevent her from sleeping on her back because she preferred sleeping on her back although I'd try to put her to nap on her side.

    I've watched far too many touch up paint videos than I care to mention and I will say that yours is short, which I very much appreciate, and straight to the point. You don't say "ummm" there's no wasted video space so whoever is editing this thank you. you show close up shots in overlay on top of the video and then you even laid out the three coats you put on showing the difference of each one in the same frame but my favorite part of this video is the outtakes. A big thank you for not wasting my time with introduction music and a lot of filler that everyone else does. if I could critique you on anything it is only this when you show close up shots of the wall please add a little bit more light it was hard to see but that's a very minor constructive criticism. well done and thank you.

    Ruggable does not recommend vacuuming with a robotic type vacuum because of the edges. In fact it is not recommended to vacuum the edges at all. Do not use a vacuum with a beater brush as it will score the rug. I know because it happened to mine. Lesson learned. Please go to the Ruggable website to properly learn how to care for your rug. I will still purchase Ruggables in the future but they do need special care. The rugs are incredibly beautiful and really transform a room.

      @@Kashish4Eijaz yes, I'm afraid it took until he was 6 months though! I did it by putting him into very large nipple shields so he had to adjust his latch to open his mouth much wider.

      @@chloehurley1614 oh that is a good idea. I'll try it. my daughter sometimes latches on fine without the shield but sometimes she is fussy and keeps crying so end up giving her the shield but I will try a large nipple shield and see how she responds to that. thanks.

    • @espressoyourself5256
      @espressoyourself5256 4 года назад

      His latch was pretty good, I did pop him off sometimes to get him to relatch and he was ok with me doing that. I wasn’t in too much pain but I did make sure to use lanolin after each nursing session for quite awhile after using the shield. Good luck, I hope you are able to wean!

      Hey I did end up putting my old rug (with the old rug pad) under the Ruggable rug and it’s working just fine! I don’t love the Comfort of the ruggable rug but I think that’s expected because it’s so thin so that it fits in the washing machine but that’s just the time of life I’m in right now. I wish there was a machine washable thick rug... maybe one day! Did you end up getting one?

    I thought it was a good video. I'd be interested to see how the rug holds up. I bought two 3x5's from QVC as an "entry level" of Ruggable, but they haven't been delivered yet. I will buy more from the site if I like those. Unfortunately, until we move, we're stuck with wall-to-wall carpet in our rental. Having seen the rug yourself in person, do you think the rubber mat on the Ruggable would accomodate rug-to-carpet double-sided tape without getting residue on it? Thanks!

    • @espressoyourself5256
      @espressoyourself5256 4 года назад

      Thank you for the comment! I'm interested to see how it stands up as well. So far its been great, I added my old rug underneath and it lays flat on that without any corner tape. I bet if there was some residue left on the carpet if you decide to tape the corners down it would come off with some warm water and soap, that's what I would try at least! I hope you have a wonderful day :)
