I think it started when Mike made a mistake and accidentally Said Jason Giambi rather than the right person. He corrected himself but the callers never let him forget his mistake
A caller suggested that the Yankees should sign Giambi as a player-manager. Mike belittled him. So callers just started suggesting Giambi be signed by everyone lol

Tommy no, caller above is not accurate. Mike himself brought Giambi up in some rambling NFL point about a player some team should consider. He quickly corrected himself but the damage was done. I’m sure someone can find the call
