Started this youtube thing awhile back after watching so many videos of people restoring their trucks and videoing the progress. I have 3 chevys and a gmc and enjoy the heck outta them. I am mainly a 6 cylinder enthusiast. I've been building my 292 for my 66 and plan on a few more builds. I like the out of ordinary old engines. I plan to also have some fun with my GMC's 305E V6. So come along for the ride! My videos aren't the best out there, but the more subscribers I get the more I have been encouraged to make my videos better. Thanks for looking and thanks for subscribing if ya do! To all the Ford guys......I do joke around about fords once in awhile. lol Not to be mean, just for the fun of it. haha

66 Chevy C10 updates and an Announcement!
I’m trying to restore one rn
Is this the one on facebook marketplace? I recognized the color of the engine and the edelbrock carb
With the 7.75 compression ratio I wonder how it would perform with a turbo.
i have one of these in a 63 and a 637 in a firetruck check it out
These old V6's were so wicked. Grandpa had a 305/4 speed in his 1968 GMC 2500. It had an itty bitty Stromberg carb on it and was slow, but they would go 500k miles and they sounded wicked.
Those 1405's are great 600cfm carbs. I have 2 on my gen2 Hemi.
What’s up man! Do you know the part number of what alternator you have on yours? I’m having trouble finding a replacement for mine since it fried
There is a '66 C-10 in my town that has a Clifford 4 barrel intake manifold and a 4 barrel carb in use as a daily driver.
Good video!
What is one of these 301/351 V6 GMC engines worth, one complete with trans out of 1960
If I remember right, the timing was factory set at 7 and a half degrees BTC.
Hi, do you mind if I ask what adapter you used for this conversion. I can’t seem to find anything to go from the manifold which had the Stromberg ww to edelbrock avs2
I have a stihl 009 so i am replacing the fuel line. I removed the carburator, Now that I am to put the carburator back, Im not sure which hole on the carburator throttle the linkage installs into. Can someone help and share this info?
Very nice brother I own a 65 GMC 3/4 ton myself with the 305. Ya can’t beat ‘em.
Currently working on a 009 and im having carb issues. Just rebuilt but all videos I find show 2 adjustment screws but my H needle is non adjustable. It's the original walbro carb, bought it new in the early 90's ever seen one like this?
Perfect thanks
I have myself the same saw, little different but the same. Having an issue with the oil tank creating a ton of preessure from the tank vent being clogged. Not sure if the tank cap doubles as the vent or if the vent is over on the other side by the clutch, anyone know where the tank vent is?
How much was that intake
I don't even think that was the choke. That's the light, choke should be closet to steering wheel
Good job !, iam almost ready to do myv66 c 20 soon ,mine true kandy Apple red silver base then house of color kandy well again looks good and make you feel good that's so cool
I had an Impala with that engine, it was a great experience, it was not a fast car, but it was very powerful to load.
Hey ,i bought the same column, you need a,coupling the a piece then swivel ,I didn't know this helix didn't have the bolt under the dash ,so I aswell need to figure out what I need to do ,good video keep making them ok and I watch
Looks like a great project !! Thank you for sharing. I am doing a mid shift on my tko and curious if you just flipped the center lug or bought the replacement. If you just flipped it does it shift okay ? Thanks
does the cold light still work on the dash?
Dufiss we’re wanting to see the work not just talking about it.
I too have Chevrolet tailgate on my 62 GMC. Would like to get the GMC. And mine is a 1000. This is 1500 or 2000?
Marvel mystery oil..... even if the world went full mad max apocalypse nobody would want that stuff lol. Nice truck btw 👌
What type of mufflers you have ?!t sounds good
I'm doing a 75 nova with the 4.1 I've been using heat for the rods and the cam gear. I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer. Do I heat press the crankshaft timing gear as well or do I use a press? Thank you in advance.
Un camión muy bueno, son unas bestias para el trabajo duro.
Just got one of these engines on a straight across trade for junk lol how sought after are these engines? Are they worth any money in running shape?
They say it take up to 500 miles to notice a difference!!! The stuff does work unless rings are to far gone !
Amigooo..desde Argentina...tengo un 850 y nesecitaria piston....se consiguen ?
Are you still alive? Haven't seen any videos in a while
Yes sir, still alive and well. Life has been absolutely nuts between being a full time diesel mechanic and taking care of my place. Being that I live out in the boonies my wifi sucks and lately has been having nothing but problems so uploading videos has been a hassle. Luckily my work wifi is way better so I'll be working on setting up there and getting videos uploaded soon I hope. Hope all is well for you! Thanks for checking in.
@@militarychevy711 yeah man I know how it is! I'm a truck driver so I know what you mean about not having time haha. I also live out in the boonies and sometimes my internet is pretty spotty too. Glad to here from you.
You should do those Rocker right
P.S. Put some 3:36:1 gears in the back and you got a highway hauler without excess RPMs. Time to get a real camera-not a cellphone job.
Yep, sounds like a truck should. Will look great once it's painted correctly. Very nice work.
Pretty cool setup there. Old school hot rodding at its best.
Putting the lump port kit in my heads now. I kinda doubt the 20% flow increase hype, tho. It's just not there. Damn nice looking motor.
Whats the gearing and stall on this thing? I wouldve figured rolling burnouts wouldve been a breeze
Where are the mirrors from? What kind?
Junior west coast mirrors from classic parts
great video!, just picked up a very similar av012, for starting, that bottom lever slides down? to the "i" position? whats with the 3 positions? thanks
nice truck nice job!
Definitely has unique sound to it
I so agree
Awsome Bloodviking
Where is it grounded??? On the windshield frame??
Self grounded to the cab
Show me the baby! This was a continuation of part 1, and you didn't do anything there either.
Show me the baby!!!!
Not running an x-pipe or something? Sounds straight piped...
Had an H pipe with Magnaflow mufflers. 572 move some air no matter what haha
Just found one of these in the dumpster , at a house I was doing a soffit repair on . I’m told the guy who threw it out fixes them and resells them , so I’m hoping he doesn’t really know what he’s doing because I got it to fire up quickly lol
