Try watching the interviews with Leonard Maltin. They were recorded and printed on cassette at the start of all three OT films on home media. In order to watch the movie, you had to get through the interview first.

The way i would watch: - episodes 1-6 - clone wars and BB - andor then rouge one - rebels - the solo movie (i know it’s not the best but in my opinion is a fun movie and certainly not the worst Star Wars movie) - mandalorian - skeleton crew - Ashoka (again, not great, but not the absolute worst) - tales of the Jedi Lmk if there are any I missed Theres a spinoff sequel series but it doesn’t take part in actual canon so I wouldn’t recommend watching it

I told her it wouldn't make sense because everything they talk about there goes back to A New Hope and you would have a much better understanding starting there. She was still hung up on the episodic order, so I was like, alright, your call. We watched The Phantom Menace and, predictably, she was confused. I set her straight with A New Hope after, and she went, "Ohhhhhhhhh!" I'm glad she finally listened, but I wish she would have just trusted me in the first place.
