Notably, the set effect from Forbidden scales with both summon damage and magic damage, effectively making universal damage bonuses apply twice. Menacing is +40% damage in Classic, 48% in Expert, 56% in Master, and the Avenger Emblem is +24% damage. The +25% summon damage and +25% magic damage already on the armour, in turn, grants the set effect +50% damage to begin with. Although its base damage is 20, it will output 30 by default, then affected by defense bonuses. Note also that the crit chance is affected by magic crit chance bonuses (also Universal, but does not apply twice like damage). With all listed bonuses, it is possible to get ≥40 damage before damage calculations. Tornadoes hit 30 times before dissipating. The Destroyer has 30 defence on its midsection segments. Unlike player defence, which grows more potent with worldfile difficulty, enemy defence does not. Half of the defence value will be subtracted from incoming damage, so in this case, -15. Using the Tornado on Destroyer without any damage boosting, it would hit 15 per hit, with normal damage variance. With all 6 boosts outlined above, it would hit ≥25 per hit, ≥30 with Menacing. 30 hits of ≥30 damage. 1200 damage per cast. Before crits. Between 1/5th and 1/4th of hits will deal double damage with the boosts outlined above. It would take over 100 main body segment casts to kill the Destroyer in Master Mode. That's... not ideal as a primary weapon, but is a powerful accompaniment to summon and magic weapon damage, especially when considering its CC potential with probes. Destroyer Probes have 450 life in Master Mode, and 20 defence, so -10 damage. The tornado would help immensely for passively CCing and weakening Destroyer Probes so that their threat of 120 contact damage and 132 laser damage is mitigated.
