Thank you Sandi. And you have a very good question. I think I do not have anything else going on with my life LOL. I work from home and I don't go out unless I need to go to a store or want to explore outdoors. No kids or pets too and I haven't found a group of friends or community to belong with but I am actively looking and hoping to find a good company to socialize with. In the meantime, I have my hobbies to keep me entertain and I have people like you who I appreciate so much for sharing your time with me. Honestly, I wish I can retire so I have more time for my hobbies but that's not going to happen soon. Take care of yourself. God bless.

We have one blind that sits higher from the ground. They have been deer hunting. They got 3 total different days, the guys had fun. I just uploaded a video in my other channel showing really nice autumn colors.

That is nice, at least you have something new to try when you retire. I agree that this added stuff requires time to do. I have punch needles that came with my nurge frame purchase to I will add that to my 'want to try' list hahaha

Wow we are both Aries and you and my late husband have the same birthday. Happy birthday Heather.. I hope it was so special doing the things you love to do with your love ones.

Go for it. I would suggest to try the Schipper brand because you won't regret it. But their kits are costly compared to the other companies. Herrschners sell their kits. My second fave brand is Dimension paintworks but you have to learn to mix some colors and match it with the color guide. It may be frustrating to beginners. Another brand I recommend is masterpiece by numbers, all colors are pre-mixed like Schipper. Also, I recommend joining a FB group so you can ask questions and learn tips. I do not gesso my canvas, others do that. There are colors that won't cover the numbers on cells, my tip is to apply several layers of paint. If still not covering, I mix a little white paint with the colored paint for the first layer, then top it with the correct color when dried. I always put a top coat on the finished painting to protect them. I also buy a set of detailed brushes for small cells, I don't just rely on the paint brushes they provided. It is actually relaxing to do paint-by-numbers I am sure you'll love it.

This is a very late reply. The brand Schipper is from Germany. You can add gesso on the canvas. I did that on one canvas I got cheap from Amazon. The lines were dark and the canvas a little slippery so applying gesso is the best way to remedy it. But for Dimensions and Schipper brands, there's no need to apply gesso. :D Hope you have started your paint-by-number projects by now. :D
