      Gday! I can certainly try to. The problem I have is that I only have a camera on my gun and one on a selfy stick and it kinda takes 2 hands. I could probably film me levering off the rock but then I might lose it lol. I’ll give a try next time I dive :)

    Whereabouts was this filmed? the headland at the start of the video reminded me greatly of the one directly next to the mouth of carlton river, but it was too close. Was this in the D'entrecasteaux channel?

    Nice video. The "squid" you caught were actually calamari, southern calamari Sepioteuthis australis. Squid have an arrow-shaped "tail", with the wings only extending a short length up the mantle (body) while calamari have disc-shaped wings that extend the whole way up the mantle.

      @@beachhermit7171 better that crayfish I reckon! I think the fishing site says the maximum size they can grow to is 70mm carapace length. They don't have heaps of meat, so the bigger the better! Sweet, delicate flavour. If you're patient, you can boil a few, remove all the meat and make a beautiful pasta!

      @@ZachKnight-sk8mo cheers! No worries with a GoPro 6, all you need to do is buy a waterproof case for it on eBay. They are about $20. Just need to search “GoPro 6 waterproof case”. You can mount on a selfy stick or use a clamp bracket to install on a spear. You can also get diving masks that have GoPro mounting brackets on them. Let me know when you’re sorted, I’ll chuck you a follow!
