My first visit to Liberia was 2018 and at that time there was not a street light to be seen on Tubman. Each year after that I’ve seen improvements. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the information. Going back to the soil is the right thing to do. Liberians that have no jobs need to go back to the soil and grow food. People think farmers are poor but it is not true. Farmers can become rich depending on their mindset and hard work.

I have this Ghana man that is very trustworthy, I left my family and trusted him to buy my land he did just that and has been the person building my house today. He is very good with communication he will send you videos and everything you need. If anyone looking for anyone to trust in their building project I can share his number with you. I when home last year and saw my house was so happy and pleasant with his work.

I feel your pain Brother. The only solution is to do your project little by little. Don't trust any on full in Liberia. As you said, not even your own relatives. Go start your project from foundation to roofing, to anything major. I speak from experience. Take your vacation period even if is two weeks, go down there and start your project and if anything major comes up you or wife should go there and oversee it. Do not send your large amount of dollars there to anyone. The highest we have sent there is 2,000 dollars no more.

Keep on trying. Of course it is so but there are still some good apples amongst the rotten apples!

It was a wise decision you made. We work hard for our money here in America. We want to build our dream home that will be pleasing and satisfying to us. Do not settle for anything less.

I know too well unfortunately what you talking about. My experience building my house in liberia has been a learning experience t. We spent over $12,000 for a half way up fence, no steel rods, and roofing, window bars and front porch. We were told that in liberia customer have to pay full estimate price even if the work is not done in full. Like we were fools to believe that crap. We do now have a great contractor and. My land was even sold twice by extended family member. In all God has been good and is always good to us . Let me know if you need our new contractor number. He's very respectful and reliable.

My brother, this is the story of every Liberian trying to invest home. I am currently struggling with a reputable online firm that has continued to use my funds to pre-finance his bigger projects. I am frustrated and on my way home.

Just saw your video and it hurts to see what you’re going through just to do your part of developing the mother’s land. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy to carry on your project I have someone who is capable, reliable and trustworthy that I can validate will do as you want. This is so sad Sr. Draw a contract with anyone who you are dealing with. These contractors should be exposed. Or better, go with a construction company especially with the kind of projects you are doing. And it’s okay to Vent! I’m blessed I have my Cousin who is so honest 🙏🏾

Find a reputable property management company in Liberia to manage your construction projects. it is costly to fly to Liberia to implement a project, that cash would be directed to the project if you have a reputable company implementing it. However, do your due diligence in finding that reputable company in Liberia. I used the word due diligence to be cautious.

When youre ready to zinc that huge home,please visit my store. In thinkers village,Rehab junction. Will even do payment plan in the states. PS..my house design changed too lol,they dont listen,as for me,i wasnt there.

Sad to hear about your ordeal. I followed you when you were in Liberia getting your house off the ground. I know how it feels when you have to work harder here and try to establish some dignity for yourself back home that you can call a retirement home one day. Did you have a 3D plan for your house? The home 3D plan would have provided you with visibility of your home before the start of construction. It would have also helped you to spot errors that would have been corrected earlier than a costly after-the-fact correction. in short, 3D plans help people who are not construction-savvy to efficiently manage their home building process. It also helps the construction engineer on your project to understand the delivery of the project. it is ludicrous for someone to tell you that you purchased land, and you cannot get the deed. For every land you buy the legitimacy of your ownership is the deed you must have, not a photocopy.
