So miss this show..

The Actress that played Lyta Was Terrible She got a bit better in certain scenes But the Biggest issue with Babylon 5 was the Acting (Some were Fantastic) but others was just Terrible which could pull a person out of some scenes.

Looking back on this, the acting was pretty good, but dramatic lol. An after watching so many clips, since I watched this on television, im like "How did I not know they re-used alot of scenes?" Its pretty cool, farewell B5 an the spineoffs that failed after....

In equal measure I both fancied and pitied Lyta.

Still to this very day, one of the most terrifying "baddies" of any sci-fi universe. Like a giant, black, space-tick. Totally inhuman and totally implacable. The Terminator Unit of space-armies.

B5 was certainly one of the best sci fi shows, possibly because it was made by a single guy rather than by a team of writers, ensuring consistency and credibility. It now looks dated and it would be great if JMS could reboot the series with modern effects. BTW I once sent a fan email to him decades ago and was surprised and delighted when he replied. I wish I'd kept it.

Till this day I still don't know what them shadows really are, only know they are bad news and pretty OP. They had to take jump engines offline to gain enough power to take just one ship down and with the help of a powerful psionic.

Well. Change that title. That's rather "Lydia vs. shadow" ship. This was a PSI battle more than anything else.

I always thought, that when the shadow war was over, it lost some of its magic. I still enjoyed the series after they, and the vorlons had left the universe, but just not quite as good as before. Still, it was the best TV sci-fi series out there at the time and I can't tell ya how BIG a Star Trek fan I used to be.

Patricia Tallman was so great and is so beautiful. I hated how the ended her character's story toward the end of the series, but such is life in episodic fiction.

What bothered me about the show at this time was how Lita was later treated by Sheridan and the rest of the leaders of B5. She just saved all of them and was always there for them. REmember on Mars, all that she did to help. She did so much they should of at least let her have her living quarters on B5. But they kicked her out, forcing her to return to Psy Core and finally jailed her and forced her to leave with G'kar. Sheridon could be a real D sometimes and towards people he should have been forever grateful to. That was bad writing imho.

i love the part when she learns that it was the shadows that killed ambassador kosh ... and then she got real pissed .... AND HELL FOLLOWED WITH HER ... lol

At its time Babylon 5 was the best written show ever. A beginning, a middle and an end. Never been donne. Now we get a reboot. We can only hope.
