Another draw back is you have to change the transmission oil regularly. It tends to sludge very fast. A typical car transmission oil change is every 40000kms or less however the nissan note you have to change the oil every 20000kms or once every year and hopefully you can minimize the sludge build up in the transmission. Could you reach out to the nissan manufacturer and ask them why does that happen and how to prevent it? Also the placement of the hybrid battery will collect dust, to top it off it has NO filter. Why? Why would the engineers put the hybrid battery their ???. Under the seat.. and the fan. Very poor engineering. They can't be so foolish. I think it's because they want the car owners to spend money for replacement so NISSAN parts department can profit.

It wasn’t even naturally aspirated, wrt the 1M? Well, there IS a naturally aspirated version, and I own one. It’s a 128i, and it has the same 6, naturally aspirated, as is found in the 1M. Mine is a stripper, iDrive delete, with only 3 options, 18” wheels, leather and metallic paint. My car also has the 6-speed manual transmission. She is said to be the most like the ORIGINAL M-car, of any modern BMW. The same naturally aspirated drivetrain was used in the 1, 3 and 5-series cars, so the 128i, being the smallest and lightest version, is also the fastest.

Only things Nissan dropped the ball on was the location of the battery cooling fan(maintenance wise) , and the fact that there's no cooling fan filter behind the vent like the Toyotas after 2017

Yes and no. It's not Soley from battery. The Actkinson engine can and does place electrons directly to and from the inverter bypassing the battery altogether. Nissan have not been totally up front about this. Either way its still a good solution. I get between 18 and 30 kms per liter. It drops heaps when driven on highway ie more than 80kph. Still i love my black arrow note.

The e92 and e46 m3 are my two favourites, however the reliability on the e92 is not great and its upkeep is considerably higher than the e46 m3. Which is why when I get one, it’ll be the e46.

It's true that it still uses fuel to power the motor to charge the batteries. For all you people that drive fully electric and think the sun shines out your arse heres a thought. Where the fuck does your charge come from? In most but not all cases, it would be from coal powered power stations which is way worse than a tiny petrol engine. Think about that next time you give a Note driver shit about being holier than tho" cause your NOT. (Mainly wanker that drive Tesla cars to be fair)

I have had E36 (USA Version), E46 M3 and M Coupe (Clownshoe). The most fun and reliable performance was the E36 version. Lightweight, smooth shifting and low maintenance cost. The E46 M3 is faster but also heavier. All around great cars though before all the computers and safety features took over.

Even a modicum of research would show everyone who likes driving chooses Michelin.

Maybe some years ago, but now with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S it has been surpassed: The 4S has proven to probably be the best out there 🤷🏻‍♂️
